I know people remember B. J. and the Bear,
but do you remember the spin-off from B.J. is SHERIFF LOBO?
It was funny as hell...
and ofcourse B.J. and the Bear -
Lastly who wouldn't know these, if you don't, you're truly from Mars.
and this...
Anyway, I preferred Lindsay Wagner's one because her won an Emmy for that role, very few sci fi roles win it.
Another because of her legs. -
This is my sister's favourite, you won't believe how many Shaun Cassidy poster she put in her room.
But I remembered some of the episodes were scary as hell.
Ofcourse, Pamela Sue Martin.
The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries -
TV shows in the 70s were great and very very original at that time.
Most of stories were new, fresh and originality is at high. So many great tv series, mystery, crime, soap operas etc...
Don't know where to begin with.
One my favourite is...
The Rockford Files
No special effects, not much of action but a good ole detective story that uses his brain more than his brawl. Love James Garner! -
Seriously, how can a remake beat the original?
Jack Lord made Hawaii Five-O, he's the king of beach cop with his swagger.
And who have they cast this time?
The 70s Hawaii Five-O was an international success, that's one of the reason how CBS Prime Time TV USA made it big in the first place.
Hawaii Five-O also helped catapulted CBS.
To do a remake for a huge successful TV show is like there's no new idea anymore, let's ride on a successful one.
Put some bikini chics running down the beach and that's it.
Remember what they did to remake Battlestar Galatica?
Huge bomb. -
Hollywood has run out of ideas. -
When I see the Spawn car, I laughed like mad because of someone.
I think UcB understood what I was talkin bout those days at spawn.com forum. -
Aiks... T1 error ke? -

Please la Mat Sentul's Ding Dang ads was not even born yet that time, much later..
These are very early 80s. -
Some of the great Japanese cartoons were also adopted by the USA.
Check out this heavy orchestra intros.
科学忍者隊ガッチャマン, Team Gatchaman (Japanese intro)
G-Force Battle of the Planets (US version intro)
One of the talented voice over for the US version is Mr.American Top 40 DJ himself, Casey Kassem.
Listen carefully to the main hero, Mark.
GIANT GILA MONSTER... heehe
-
But before the Voltron there were many Japanese cartoons dominates our local RTM channels.
One of the early ones are...
ジャングル大帝
Then the Americans dub it in English and called it...
Kimba the White Lion
Later the US stole the idea and made...
Simba The Lion King
See the comparison
-
VOLTRON?
Ofcourse -
VERY GOOD LAH! -
"DRAMA MINGGU INI."
Some like drama, some hate it.
Some people can live it.
Some can't.
So how?
-
Score...!
The VW light blue is same colour as the chairs! -
That's it!? Is that all from sinclair?

Mody's DICK?

In the late 80s, 3D animation has becoming an 'IN' thing especially the exploration of MTV channel music videos.
One of the first animation combined with reality is made in...
Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future
POWER ON!
The Mattel made toys
The funny story to this tv series is, the makers was trying to target for adult audiences. But the producers decided to target and slot it at children's tv time. But as the episodes goes on, the series became too violent for children.
Later they cancel the rest of the series.
Contributing to the cancellation is the cost to produce the series is expensive because of the 3D animations.
And was the target of anti-toy related children's television advocates who claimed that the series focused on selling children expensive toys to fully participate. MATTEL.
