5. The real car: Stock Car # 21 - Pilot name: Tiago Camilo The Custom: - Painting - Decals - General detailing, head lights, tail lights, side exhaust pipes Hope you like it! Unfortunately the blue decals became green when applied on the yellow surface due to the transparency. Next time I´ll use white decal paper instead!!!
6. Yeah! Exactly! When you are not sure, the best way is that, like you said, take apart the chassis and the cast to have a better idea of how deep you can go with the 2mm drill bit. Most people usually drill directly with the 4mm to remove the rivet first. I prefer to drill first with the 2mm a little, so the 4mm drill will not go out of center, but you may choose the best for you! Good luck!
7. Sometimes I need to cut the screw about 1 or 2mm due to the short post. Just put the screw and the drill bit side by side and put the red tube in position. This measure should not exceed the post lenght! Please see the picture below: Watch if the drill depth will not cross over the cast!!!
8. Hi Jay! The correct lenght is: one side should be close to the mandrel (chuck) and the other side should expose how much you want to drill in depth (lenght of the thread). But you only need to take care in case of cars with low front profiles, like in sport cars. Usually in rear ends, no special attention is required.
9. can´t wait to see it finished!!!
10. LANCIA STRATOS Alitalia W.I.P This is my first project made by 4 hands! I´ll make the decals and my friend will do the rest, wheels swap, interior detailing etc... Just finished the decals, next step is a clear coat! The real one: Planning the decals design: First decals applyied: Sometimes unwanted issues occur... Almost done! Building a new windshield, instead of the yellowish one!

So, I was looking for an inspiration on the net, then I found this incredible DAYTONA 500 Pace car!!! Although the real car is 2012 and mine´s a little older, I didn´t care about this because the result would be very cool!!! Decals making of Defining the decal lenght using a tape: Testing the decal size with a pre-print: Side decals applied: Now with the roof decal applied: Finished!!!
