Oh my goodness, I'm watching a travel programme and they're visiting catacombs in Sicily. I've never seen anything like it, all the skeletons but with their final clothes on.

Creepy isn't in it.

Will pop back after dinner, knew it wasn't taking too long anymore
Am a bit starving... Helped parents out in the garden - in a way though, as we planted our potatoes.

See you in a bit!

Oh No...Bye Armell..........

I am Grill chef but ith 120 more soups to cook to unlock that blasted wedding cake..I can't stand it any more - I give up.

I sent some gifts to Yarden today and have sent a couple of other gifts this afternoon without a problem. It does seem slow now.
Apparently EVERYTHING is now hackable and some people think that PF will prevent or limit gifing as a result (Fox plushie is being reported as in GMB LOL....it's the way they hack apparently !!)

There's a thread about the hack Wish, and making the gifts available through GMBs.

Done already - that was YD.
She wanted advice as she has to interview someone for a job tomorrow.
Apparently her manager and a manager from another branch did the guy's first interview and she has to follow up with the second.

I gave her 4 questions to ask, and she seemed pleased with them.

That's quite a lot... I've heard it's 6000 dishes for the cheese mayor?

Playfish will probably only have the free gifts in the future. I think they are trying to transition people already with the idea.

EEEK! you know what, perhaps it'd be helpful for us short sighted folks if you guys could do your avvies and siggies in reverse colours or something? I have to concentrate really hard to distinguish you from the other.

Kijo, how did you get on yesterday? I kept meaning to FB message you, but I had a bit of an accident yesterday (I typed about it to Army just before)

Sorry Gill, I might have thought about making different avvies/siggies - it was my first time to make us both something

My leg hurts.

Hey Kijo - sorry I missed you there! How are things ?

WB BG

Leo - apparently even the people who have unlocked Cheesy Mayor by cooking themselves blue in the face are unable to cook it - apparently PF will not release until 26th April ....I guess neither of us need to worry about that for a while yet LOL

Gill - no I've missed CDWM now...too many things going on here right now

sorry about the leg.

Am not being mean BG, just feel bad if I don't read the posts correctly iyswim?

It's a repeat anyway Wish. We have 4.30-6.30 as our quiet sit down time.
We're having homemade pie tonight for dinner, the chicken and bacon with leeks, in a tarragon and white wine sauce. Just got to add the pastry tops and bake them, plus steam a few veg...so easy meal tonight.

YD's coming home for dinner tomorrow, this is very left field, can't help wondering what's behind that?

Oh I know, I should have thought about it, will change mine, to make it easier ;-)

Might have to take another painkiller - I was having an 'okay' day (right hand still hurts, but oh well) but now this pain is like... gnawing, because I helped out (made my parents happy, so I don't mind as they appreciate what I did, knowing I was having a lot of off-days)

I read about the basin troubles, I hope that gets sorted soon
oh, and the bump! painful!

LOL - there are about 100 threads about the hacks! Still it's quite disappointing and kind of takes the fun out of things - especially if they suppress gifting.

LOL Wish I meant the one I put up a notice about.

Just booked a decorator for 10th May - this is turning out to be a blooming year long project.

YD coming home for dinner - she's got me there...what's afoot I wonder?

Such a long time to wait G, I'm sorry

Seems like everywhere there's something that's going to take a long time before something gets done - 10th May is also the date my Mom finally gets to go to see a specialist about her shoulder (found out today), in the meantime she has to go to the physiotherapist

Good luck to Mum BG.

No worries about the thread, it merely points to Lea's thread in the main forum, incase anyone was in the dark.

ED went by train, had a room at the Radisson Edwardian, which she probably didn't even see for more than a couple of hours! and said the MCFC players were 'great fun' Westlife performed (don't envy her that at all)

Sorry for the late reply, got offtracked with life things...

You noticed how we have the free gifting now? Like other games have? Playfish might want to end the normal gifting if the hacking is damaging them too much. I don't know. Just a guess.

Gotta go for a bit...

Not until the 26th BG, but we're going out on the 24th - Saturdays are better for celebrating than Mondays, yes?

It's 30 years married this year, together for 34 - imagine that!

Oh yes, I don't like to celebrate on Mondays, so I hear you :-)

I hope you both enjoy it, being married for 30 years (and together for 34) is really awesome!

Wonder if my sister and I are going to do something special for our parents, as they are married for 40 years this year. And I'm also very amazed every time people are surprised if they ask how long I'm together with my BF (it's been almost 9 years); but I love that

Congratulations to your parents - 40 years is their Ruby anniversary, how lovely.

People do ask how you could decide so young to be with someone for the rest of your life? but I just say, you know, with every ounce of your fibre and being - and so why pass a good thing by, whatever age you are?
The same way I never understand our girls when they have 'just for now' relationships...I'm probably not so much in touch with 'reality' - have been very lucky I guess.

Must leave you for dinner now sweet pea...
x

Bon appetit (was just downstairs again)

I have to agree on what you say; you just feel and know it - no matter what your age is (which is only a number imo).

Going to install myself in front of the TV, need some lazy time & rest

Laters!
