i havent been able to get onto PS for two days now

No worries here. I've been having issues with getting in. Not to the extent you have, but the white screen of death comes up more this week than in past weeks.

ive tried using Firefox and Windows Internet Explorer

in Internet explorer go into tools, internet options, then delete browsing history

In firefox,,,tools, clear recent history
