Where I live they have a full day of activities, but I think we are just going to go for the fireworks tonight. Sometimes we have a bbq with friends but I don't think we are going to do that this year..

We had a wonderful Canada Day!
We went to a new park! Then we ordered food to go (no cooking for me!), I made a strawberry desert with strawberries we picked 2 weeks ago at a farm, and we spent a quiet night at home watching the fireworks on TV (they where too late for us to go due to my daughter's bed time - maybe next year!)



One of the most fun parts of Canada Day is that everyone tend to dress in red & white! We also love to wear removable tattoos of the flag or maple leaf. Most Canadians spend time with family & friends. But allot of them also attend community run events. It can be, a BBQ, a day at the beach, camping, going to a fair, or lot's of other events! The day usually ends with fireworks in each comunity! Canada is still a member of the British Royal Monarchy (like Australia), but on July 1st 1867 many of the provinces joined together to form Canada as a country.
