sahama 0 Posted October 22, 2010 TV series Hawaii Five-O was one of the most successful television series in the 1970s. It ran fro 12 seasons. The original series was helmed by the late Jack Lord, whose character, Steave McGarrett, headed a squad of dedicated police detectives. Viewers practically glued at the edged of their seat towards the end of each episode just to hear McGarrette deliver his iconic catchphrase:"Book ém, Dano". Even its theme music at the start with the scene of rolling high waves remains one of the best TV themes of all time. The remake of the hawaii Five-O recently hit TV in the USA. The revive Hawaii 5-O lies in the solid casting with the dreamy Alex O'Loughlin (The backup plan) taking on the role of Steve McGarrette and Scott Caan ( Oceans Eleven) as Danny "Danno" Daniel Da KIM (Lost) and Grace Parks (Kono). Catch the original remastered version of Hawaii 5-O from Nov 1 at 6.45 pm on weekdays and the remake from Nov 14 at 9pm with subsequent episodes airing on Tuesdays at 10pm on AXN. Happy viewing of Hawaii5-O.original Hawaii 5-ORemake

Atomkinder 0 Posted October 22, 2010 Seriously, how can a remake beat the original?Jack Lord made Hawaii Five-O, he's the king of beach cop with his swagger. And who have they cast this time? The 70s Hawaii Five-O was an international success, that's one of the reason how CBS Prime Time TV USA made it big in the first place.Hawaii Five-O also helped catapulted CBS.To do a remake for a huge successful TV show is like there's no new idea anymore, let's ride on a successful one.Put some bikini chics running down the beach and that's it.Remember what they did to remake Battlestar Galatica?Huge bomb. Atomkinder 0 Posted October 22, 2010 TV shows in the 70s were great and very very original at that time. Most of stories were new, fresh and originality is at high. So many great tv series, mystery, crime, soap operas etc...Don't know where to begin with. One my favourite is...The Rockford Files No special effects, not much of action but a good ole detective story that uses his brain more than his brawl. Love James Garner!
Atomkinder 0 Posted October 22, 2010 This is my sister's favourite, you won't believe how many Shaun Cassidy poster she put in her room. But I remembered some of the episodes were scary as hell.Ofcourse, Pamela Sue Martin. The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries

Atomkinder 0 Posted October 22, 2010 Lastly who wouldn't know these, if you don't, you're truly from Mars. and this... Anyway, I preferred Lindsay Wagner's one because her won an Emmy for that role, very few sci fi roles win it.Another because of her legs.
