Sinclair's Metrorail aka Nash Metropolitan garage

Finally took the time to take some photos of my Metrorail collection after soooo long. Some members would have seen this collection during weekly gathering some years ago when I brought it over. Glad to say that it survived some crashes when it was in loose foldabox, but now moved to a smaller loose case which is better for the car because it would easily spin around previously in the foldabox.

The Metrorail aka Nash Metropolitan was released as Hot Wheels First Edition in year 2000. It is modelled after the actual car Nash Metropolitan (from the 1950's). However, Hot Wheels have spiced up the casting with a longer nose and dragster features. I don't see many collecting this casting but I like it coz of the long nose and boxy design.

Also happy to note that this is also another casting that I have completed, but with the recent release of the 2011 5-pack variant, have to wait to re-complete it. However, if you have something else that I don't, please let me know, thanks for looking.

Thanks for the pics, eight. Yep, the group of cars looked great in those connected foldaboxes.

great collections there..Sinclair!! I only have 2 pcs in hand! Btw...where can i find those box that u show in the 1st pics?? Fits the casting well and wont overturn easily! I did have two, that i get from u last time from ur sales! Avaliable here?? or only from OZ??

I bought from US seller via ebay. Worked out to less than RM2 per pc including shipping, which is pretty alright.

But I haven't bought in a while, not sure if the price has changed.
