I'm only 34.. but like my lil sister says to my niece, you like Beyonce but why not find out what inspired her to be as she is... same with RnB - all the greats that inspired todays RnB were doing their thang when my parents were younger than me. Just like how Black Sabbath are the fathers of metal compared to modern standards. Today's bands grew up listening to bands like Thin Lizzy etc ... so it's good to have a broad musical education. I was into the Police, Doors, Sabbath, Metallica, , velvet underground, Dio etc when I was 14. It's like saying you like reggae but don't know who Bob Marley is
