day101 0 Posted May 4, 2011 I agree for £150 a pair you cant go wrong I don't think, value for money at the end of the day.
smilinjack 0 Posted May 4, 2011 I'm coming up to 2,000 miles on the sport touring tyres, and am really pleased with them. If the rear can last 5k+ I reckon I'll stick with Maxxis personally. Less than that & it's no cheaper than buying Bridgestone or Continental.
day101 0 Posted May 4, 2011 i think they have put alot into the road side of their tyres and they are starting to come good imo
Stue11 0 Posted May 4, 2011 After fitting a pair of them today to someone elses bike, i like the look of them

day101 0 Posted May 4, 2011 i know it sounds stupid but i have read alot somewhere over the internet that the slicks grip very well in the wet.

I've read that 9/11 wasn't set up by the CIA As to the feedback from these Maxxis, again, perhaps the best set of tyres I've had on in that respect. Very steady but responsive to the slightest shove on the bar.

smilinjack 0 Posted May 16, 2011 Just copied this from another forum:First time in ages I've posted but I feel I have to join in this grand Maxxis debate! Got a VFR800Fi-X with 38k on of which I've done 15k on.Put the Diamonds on around 1,000 miles ago as I read 6-7 reports and all seemed good.I'd done 9k on Dunlop Roadsmarts (great tyres), and it was the £50 saving that swayed me. Got to say that early impressions are really good, with excellent dry and wet grip;though the most impressive thing up to now is the feedback, they really transmit what's happening. The other thing is-wait for it- they seem QUIETER, especially over the shellgrip surfaces around roundabouts and other hazards, maybe it's because they feel lighter in steering and changing direction but that's my feeling. Before they went on they did look a bit 'pointy' but once inflated looked fine and certainly don't drop into corners. I run my forks dropped 10mm and 35 front 38 rear psi. Bike feels great all round. Just got to see how they wear, if they approach the Dunlops they will be winners. Look in other markets like cycle, atv etc and Maxxis are dominant, I've got no worries whatsoever .

Chadatious 0 Posted February 16, 2012 Yeah I wasn't impressed with. Bridgestones, death traps in wet. Loved mitchelin but cos I was commuteing and they squared off in no time. But more curvey roads this year lol
