A 25-year-old motorcyclist has died after an accident near Derby. The man, who has not been identified, came off his Suzuki motorcycle on Stenson Road in Stenson at 18:10 BST on Friday, a Derbyshire police spokesman said. The rider suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham but died later. No-one else was involved in the accident.
