Im very sad to confirm the death of Marco Simoncelli. He was amazing man and I pray for his friends and family and the whole MotoGP paddock. An horrific accident and another shockingly sad weekend for motorsport. RIP Marco...

That has to be the most horrific motorsport crash I have ever seen...

RIP Marco, such a massive talent - whose going to represent us 6foot+ lads on the grid now? Sad

i missed the race today..im shocked such a huge loss to the world of motorcycle racing , many critised his riding /style , i always saw him as the future of motogp, it takes huge talent and real guts to ride a bike as fast as that, i'd be happy with 1% of his riding ability.......

R.I.P Marco...have fun in the after life, go see barry sheene and have a few beers

Sad day and a shame, especially so quickly after the unfortunate death of Dan Wheldon. Not a good time for motor sport. Thoughts and condolances go to family and friends.
