Oldfart 0 Posted March 16, 2012 To bikers using this road (mainly Notts residents)The highways have now installed Average Speed Cameras along this stretch from Arnold through Mansfield and up to Ollerton. They are the new rear facing ones that catch bike plates. Its 50mphNot sure if they are actually active yet but I'm not wanting to find out.

Grumpyowl 0 Posted March 18, 2012 Those average speed cameras must be profitable in these austere times.Notts seem absolutley obsessed with them..They don't seem to have a problem financing these schemes..All this reducing the NSL by stealth to 50through the back door. Why don't they just stop piddling about and drop it to 50 from 60 and have done with it ??
