thats the mark 2 version with the rack on the back,t bar gear change as opposed to the knob unadjustable handlebars and the shorter seat with the warning not to take passengers, I seem to think it had a 4 speed sturmey archer geared rear hub whereas the mk 1 had a 3 speed. I had the mk 1 in blue.

Not a chance had to save up mysen and got a second hand racer from JE James on Bramhall Lane.

It even only had 26 inch wheels when all me mates had 27 inch wheels

Oh we'll got me Busa now thumbs

looking at that pic mine must have been the mk1, my dad got it from the classifieds in the local paper i reckon i was about 9 at the time Laughingthumbs

the xmas i wanted one you couldnt get them for love or money they were all sold out so i ended up with a 5 speed racer Sad

Apparently impossible to wheelie something to do with the large rear small front wheel combo I always wanted one but got a second hand Raleigh Grifter instead, which would wheelie thumbs

thats the one. my Dad paid £35 for mine brand new.I rtemember having to buy a new back tyre for it (£2.50) cos i knackered it up doing skids.wish i could remember what happened to it.

I had a red one and dad put loads of mirrors on it and made it look like a scoot thumbsthumbs happy days they were thumbsthumbs

i had a mk1 was always getting the local garage to weld the frame joints back up , a good one is now fetching £500 easy.
