second blood test

well on friday i found out that i might have Diabetes , need to give more blood this week and then i will find out on Feb the 5 , to top that of with all the problem.s
i have not very happy right now , sure hope i can still ride the bike or that would be the end ,

keep you chin up Gaz Diabetes isn't the end of the world m8  thumbs  once your sorted lets meet up again this year on the bikes and I will cheer you up

sorry to hear that garry, my daughter has type 1 diabetes which means insulin injections
I think yours if that's what it is might be type 2 which can be controlled with medication
chin up m8 and keep us informed  thumbs

Our lass knows a few people with diabetes and they live the same as every one else. You will be fine we r all here with plenty of support. thumbs

Don't worry--- you more than likely have type 2,basically means you developed it in later life.

I was diagnosed with it a few years ago, and I am able to control it by watching what food I eat,---keep away from sugar-&-carbs-- & too much alcohol and you will keep it under control.  If that doesn't sort it, you may well need medication, it's unlikely you will need injections unless you can't control it by these methods.

Have your eyes checked as well --this often leads to Glaucoma, Your Dr. will give you all the information, and you will be monitored.
It hasn't affected my driving / riding,-- even with Glaucoma, I have eye drops to keep that in check.
Follow what your Dr. says and you will be fine---DON'T WORRY

ive had type 2 for years mate and it doesnt stop me from doing anything just got to remember to take me tablets  thumbs

It wont stop you riding Smile My cousin is diabetic, has to jab him self frequently during the day but he still rides  thumbs Just stay positive, You'll soon get to grips with what helps and doesn't help.
