stantheman 0 Posted March 13, 2015 after watching tv tonight and seeing that the government are taking away disability cars from people who need them im seriously considering shopping my neighbour who has one but rents it out for £200 a month to his dad its a brand new zafira and the neighbour doesnt even have a licence to drive and walks everywhere
Tony nitrous 0 Posted March 13, 2015 My mum has a mobility car, she's never driven in her life!In her defence my Dad drives her everywhere, Both in their 70's now and both paid tax all their working life.It seemed odd to give a car to someone who can't drive, but neither have ever claimed any unemployment, Housing, sick pay or any other benefits in their life, and one is registered disabled and the other shouldbe if he wasn't too stubborn and proud.I do know that plenty in the UK play the system. One was using the car as a taxi until it went back with starship mileage on it! Davehutch-hutchs 0 Posted March 14, 2015 The 20 year old lad across the road has supposedly got "learning disabilities" his dad gets a car to run him around in , but the lad is physically fit and can run round Syston coursing trouble and nicking stuff ! I say shop them Stan !
Tony nitrous 0 Posted March 14, 2015 The ones that play the system only make it worse for the genune cases. I'd have no issuewith someone grassing up benefit cheats.

Chadatious 0 Posted March 15, 2015 ive always said this, and that is rover a uk company went under, why did they not give them a city rover, with wind down windows, no air con etc, keep a British company going and if they are desperate for a car they would have it. when there are too many people taking the pee, when why not fi they people get cars, say that they will help them get it converted on controls, or for wheelchair access in the rear instead?
