Hi friends as I posted on the praying forum I am dealing with physical issues and need all the support and counseling I can get through this time. When you walk through so many surgeries and find out more issues have arrived you feel like you never seem to get passed it and you tend to find more physical issues comes from the surgeries you just had. A cycle that needs to be broken. I have dealt with this since my twenties. I have gone in and out of healing rooms, Sozo, dug under past rugs for any open doors. I have even fasted for my healing or for some kind of of revelation that would set me free. I mean everything spiritually I have done to chase after my healing and well not healed yet. I have had my friends who meant well condemn me telling me I have sin in my life or forgiveness this is why this has happened or I opened doors that should not have been opened yada yda. I mean hey lets get real I wanted to stop asking for prayer because either I would get pat answers to serious problems or condemned and told I had all this junk and this is why I am the way I am...Bless the church but they can also be the ones who really wound or hurt you, when you are walking through the hardest times in your life.

I was healed from Liver disease in 2003 when I was suppose to get a Liver transplant. I often wonder why the Lord would heal my Liver and yet so far not my spine or feet. His ways are not our ways, His thoughts are higher then our thoughts.WHO UNDERSTANDS THE MYSTERIES OF GOD? Only He knows the days the hours in which we live and have our being and my only hope and trust is in Him. When all else fails we stand and believe and trust in what is yet unseen. It has been a long and painful road with a lack of sleep as pain increases. I tell you this my friends He is faithful and I do not stand alone. He says he intercedes for me day and night and contends for me. My precious Jesus did not die on a cross so that I would suffer and not receive the fullness of my salvation and the price he paid so I could receive it. I am contending for what He did for me that day He said it was finished.

It is funny I wrote a word and released it the day before I ended up in the ER last Monday with two thoracic disc herniation's that protruded my spinal cord. It is the word that I now read almost daily because God knew I needed to release it not only for others but for myself as well. I will post it and I pray it touches and ministers to you all who comes across it because it is true. Some times we get a word of the promises of God to only find our lives are heading in the opposite direction of what the Lord spoke to our hearts.

I got to the part where your friends condemned you for sins. I just read the story of the blind man from birth a few nights ago where the apostles were asking Jesus what sins in his life or his ancestry caused his blindness. Jesus told them that no sin caused his blindness and that it was completely for the Glory of God to heal him.

Job's friends condemned him too.
Sometimes, we, as a church, are not humble enough to admit that we do not understand God's ways or His choices. Some feel that they must defend God and when He does not heal or deliver in the way we think he should, we then say the problem must be you. For all the times you have been rejected, hurt and unloved in this way, I repent and ask for your forgiveness on behalf of the church.
Indeed, I declare that I have NO IDEA what God is doing in you or your ailments. BUT! I believe he has a plan for you! Even if you were to be bound to a wheelchair - I believe him when he declares he has a plan for you, a wonderful plan! 1 Peter 4 and 5 reminds us that we should not be surpised when we suffer. That the devil is waiting in our moments of suffering to pull us away from our flock and rip us apart. To make us feel alone and weak. Steadygaze, you have thwarted his plans to pull you away from the flock. Don't let go of us!!! We are here to encourage you on through what must a frightening, LONG road. But you have declared for yourself that God is there with you!!! Amen!!! What a poerful testimony. In your suffering, you are a witness. You are causing non-believers to take notice. They see the HOPE you have in a hopeless situation. God WILL give you opportunities to minister to the unsaved because you have hope in a terrible situation! You will also be able to minister to those who have shunned you and told you this is your fault or that you have sin blocking healing. NO! God's plan is for you to demonstrate humility and to TEACH those in your sphere of influence to do the same.
Your back may be weak, but there is a strength in you that will never cause you to falter!!!! And you know that.
Hang in there, friend! I pray that God will send you an outpouring of encouragement this week. I pray that He will open the eyes of your heart to a new understanding and revelation that will give you the strength to continue on the path you are on. I pray that fear will be tossed out on its rear and replaced with confidence and that you will walk taller than you ever have before!!!

Rnest, you are4 so right.. I have a number of chronic illnesses and I actually stopped goign to Cghurch beacus eof the whole 'there must be a root' philosophy, plus this new Christian fad that says havign emotions=lack of faith. there are a lot of foolish people around.

Friend, I'm standing with you cos I had an MRI scan this morning and I'm in mindboggling agony. have been for 20 years.

Golden, it's horrible what burdens other christians religiously put onto those who are hurting. Everyone goes through their own struggles emotionally and physically and that is God's problem not those that would put words into His mouth.
It's all for His glory that we go through what we go through so that those that don't believe that He Is and that He does do miracles will believe!! Thank you Golden and Steady for hanging on for dear life to complete this race with shining victory, In the name of Jesus, Amen!!!

Hi precious friends.

It still has been such a struggle. I can not believe the physical junk they put you through here. Being passed around like a hot potato is not my idea of a resolution to any problem. You have to be your own advocate. I actually called a university in Portland and am going to go there for all the treatments I need. I did some study on the internet and am praying the Lord will provide what is needed it is a hard road but the Lord is always faithful.

Update on this folks. Oh it has been a nightmare where doctors are concerned. I kept being passed around like a hot potato because these doctors do not want to deal with the thoracic spine issues. It turns out that when people get paralyzed from the waste down it is because it is from the Thoracic spine area.So many doctors do not like doing any type of surgery on it because any slight mistake you can be paralyzed so instead they drug you up and give you spinal injections and put you on a shelf. I decided to do some home work of my own, because the Life Christ gave to me is a life of health and wholeness not a life strung out on drugs and spinal injections. So I did researches on Thoracic specialists besides praying and claiming my healing. I found a college in Portland that specialize in dealing with such issues. Now I am dealing with not only chest pains and problems breathing with the back pain in between my shoulders which is my Thoracic spine but having a problem with urination as well. From what I understand the two herniated discs are pressing against my spinal cord that is causing all the breathing and chest pain issues is also causing urination problems as well. So it has bee so hard in all of this.

Then another problem arrived where my foot was so swollen my shoe barley could go on my foot and I could barley walk on it. It turns out the artificial joint had spurs growing under the joint and all around the joint that the artificial joint in my right foot could not bend.The joint gave out. So now I am scheduled for yet another foot surgery in March to fuse the joint.

Thanks for listening I tell you it has been allot of tears pouring down lately.

Steadygaze, darling, you must eb in so kuch pain. I can sympahise cos I've been in apin but only you and God know your body and your soul. Don't let people put any condemnation on you for being sick or fear for the future into your head. It may seem crazy for xome-one to say this, but I honestly believe that oen day you'll look back and it'll be like 'Wow. remember that tiem I needed the surgery. I can't believe I survived all that! I can't even believe that was me!.'

The Lord is with you Steady, you are His and He has a plan for all you are going through, though it has been very painful and a long road. Though we don't see the end we know that in Yah says to not think of tomorrow and to only deal with what is in front of you now. One stinky diaper at a time is what I used to tell myself when changing my son's diapers!!
