lola21st 2 Posted June 17, 2010 Praise the Lord, Latoya!Welcome to the site! I have prayed for you. The scripture that I'd like to leave you with is Psalm 147:3 - 3 He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds.Know that God loves you beyond anything that you can imagine. He sees what is going on and is not pleased. He will comfort, heal, and strengthen you as you go through this season. Cry out to Him when you need to, He is your refuge and is always with you. You may not see it now, but He will work this for your good.
Cholette 0 Posted June 17, 2010 WOW! I am speechless, yet not enough to keep me from praying for you LaToya. God is faithful and although this season may be painful for you to walk through, you are not walking alone. God is crazy about you and is the only one that closes doors...even the door of marriage. I totally agree with Lurdys and love the scripture she shared with you. Just LEAN on the Lord. Go to Him when you are feeling those pains in your heart and lay them at His feet. You can go to him and tell him ANYTHING and he will hear you and NOT judge you for it. Peace be with you my sister...
Christina 0 Posted June 18, 2010 Hi Latoya31 - My heart breaks for you - I have been there and will never forget the way that it feels. I am praying for you, and just wanted to share about an international bible-based ministry I've been volunteering with for many years called 'Divorce Care' that was very instrumental in my healing. They do God's work there. You can find groups at churches across America, or they will help you find a group if you contact them at www.divorcecare.com. God Bless You - You are in my prayers. Dove-Solutions 0 Posted June 18, 2010 I agree with the comments above from Lurdys and Cholette. The scripture that comes to mind for me is my signature verse. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your path. Proverbs 3:5-6. I believe that everything has a purpose. God will use this situation for your benefit. I know it is difficult at the moment but it will all work out. Although man may leave us the Lord will never forsake us or abandon us. I encourage you to trust the Lord even more now and turn it all over to him. He will heal your heart and take away your pain. Love in Jesus,Connie
latoya31 0 Posted June 18, 2010 Thank you so much for praying with me. I have my good days and my bad days with this situation. I did get some rest last night and didn't cry. That was a big relief. It really warms my heart to know that I have new special friends that will pray with and for me during times of trouble. Again thank you so much!
Cholette 0 Posted June 18, 2010 Girl...just cry...get it all out. Crying is healing. It reminds me of a scripture I read. You number my wanderings; put my tears into Your bottle; are they not in Your book? When I cry out to You,Then my enemies will turn back; this I know, because God is for me. (Psalms 56:8-9) God is good Latoya...you will be a better woman because of this. Besides...now God can prepare you for a BETTER man...if that's what you want.
