Deborah 0 Posted November 15, 2010 Just last week, the Lord spoke this to me:"Debbie, don't let your grief define you."I've been chewing on this, praying, thinking, observing other people....I think many people have allowed some terrible event in their life to mold their identity, sort of a victim mentality, if you will. As believers, we should be in the process of becoming more and more like Christ amen? Grief has its purpose and it is supposed to hang around for a time, but it is not supposed to mold us forever. Just as Ecclesiastes says, everything has its season.
Delightful soul 0 Posted November 15, 2010 yeah i know I had issues with grief years ago, actually it was hereditary but God showed me that when grief is allowed to hold root in our lives it can grow into this thing whereby we grieve over everything big or small and let it take over and in a sense i can see why God said that to you..........we are to be children of light and to be of good cheer hey
