xPink.Pixel.Princessx 0 Posted January 7, 2010 I told you i would provide proof and here it is lol. This proof was taken from a site i found ages ago. 'Piglet is a boy. And, despite the pink ribbon occasionally seen onEeyore's tail in Disney-drawn images, Eeyore is also boy. Says Eeyore,"At least I was...last time I looked. Thanks for noticing me." Infact, every character in "Winnie-the-Pooh", and "The House at PoohCorner" are boys except Kanga. There are references to other femalecharacters, namely some of Rabbit's friends and relations, but none ofthem have any speaking parts.?Why are all the majority of the characters, in Winnie-the-pooh, of the male gender? ?First, think about the times in which this book was published. Didyou know this book was published in 1926, yet women did not get thefull right to vote in England until 1928? (Not that this is totallyrelevant, it's just an interesting fact). Now, look at it from theeyes of a young boy. Do most young boys who have stuffed animals givethem boy's names or girl's names? Therein lies their gender. The onlyreal female character is a Mom.?'
