I know! First job is ripping out and gutting the bathroom. This was a new house when we moved in, 9 years ago next month, and we both really disliked the bathroom even then - so we've done well. I say that but I don't even go in there, lol, only to clean it. It's going to involve a new ceiling, new lighting, replastering walls, ripping the floor up and putting underfloor heating in before tiling, then refitting it. Same for the downstairs cloaks. After that we're having most of the house decorated (if the two decorators I've asked for quotes EVER come back to us!) and finally the whole house is being re carpeted - as again, it was done when we moved in (by the builder) and isn't anywhere near the kind of quality we wanted - it probably cost about as much as the new underlay (and is probably not as thick) then again, it was plenty good enough for teenagers to tramp over. It's the carpet I'm dreading the most, because it's going to be an upheaval everywhere!

I try and avoid anything that doesn't go in the dishwasher !! ..thats my next job, loading the dishwasher. ..don't mind loading it but for some reason I hate unloading it !! I had to do that job this morning, and I hate it too. I know lots of people who hate the unloading and putting away, I wonder why really? strange, no? I keep meaning to ask you Kasijab, where does your screen name originate from?

This weekend we really have to apply ourselves to digging out all the rubbish from two rooms that resemble interior skips, and dismantling quite a bit of furniture from YD's room, as there's a skip arriving next week. We having our bathroom gutted and also the downstairs cloakroom, it was supposed to be started this past Monday, but the snow meant a delay. Am excited, but dreading the work!

Frannie, do you still have spares from the Snow White eggs? I only ask as K-B was here early, swearing at them, because the eggs are being mean to her!

Oh gosh, yes! Far worse than me and my OH...although, Chris who owns (so to speak) Zoonie's fiancé (BigBlue) - well, she's now in Perth, Australia, and her pet's name is a big clue to where her allegiance lies too!

Oh yes, red through and through. I used to live on the Wirral years ago and my younger daughter was born in Birkenhead! OH used to work in the Cunard Building (although he's a life long Villa fan, so he's giving me some stick at the moment) We're both really big football fans, me since I was about 8 or 9 It's a grim hobby at the moment though and no mistake!

What's up you guys? Hey K, happy Friday My tea's brewing, the sink is tidied (ok so it's full of stuff to wash, bit it LOOKS tidier lol) and Socks is in now and feeding. Phew!
