  1. OMG we're twins, both with headaches and both with a pair of glasses that has one lens missing (I have the lens but can't get it to stay in the frame) I have other pairs though, although they really need updating and replacing!
  2. Welcome Back Frannie, well done lol. Just got this on my Twitter account Playfish announced today that mystery items will be regularly removed every week starting this week. Apparently we may receive an early warning message about what will be removed; however, in the long run we’re only going to be told what items were removed when the new mystery items are added each week. The Admin said “they aren’t called “mystery boxes” without reason .” These items are removed this week; Purple mystery boxes: Elegant Bamboo Gold mystery boxes: Pink Mini Bubble Chair, Ornate Framed Folding Screen
  3. It's very unusual Paige, half winter look and half summer tan I like her outfit but it's making me shiver a bit - I have a fleece on
  4. Hi Army, nursing the remains of that headache still - how are you? I saw this launched today and it made me think of you http://vancouver2010.teamgb.com/
  5. She's been there about 23 years or so and her second son was born there. Sadly her marriage broke up later, but she later married again (to an Aussie) OMG what a mess this girl's made of dinner - and Mr Zoonie was absolutely spot on about 'Michael' (27 years older than her)
  6. If it's virtual for me, it can be anything whether you have it in, or not
  7. I'll join for a virtual snifter I think Wish. Bar here is dry but that's good news for my head. Just been answering emails and Tweets, long over due! Now settling to gawp at Come Dine With Me
  8. Fabulous news Wish - am really pleased for you (sorry slightly distracted here)
  9. Nope, I'm really below par, but, it's one of those weeks Wish. We both had a small portion of coq au vin and baked potato at lunch time - so not having a big meal tonight, probably a little spag bol, except we have linguine not spaghetti.
  10. Back -- disappointingly only marginally less scary looking! I really must get a haircut, but in this weather, it's not fit to go out and about unless you really have to. My friend Jenny lives in Perth and so does Chris, Big B's mum - although I haven't heard from her in a while. Had to take some more headache tablets, and still feel sick, yuck. IMOM's come home and the first thing he starts talking about is dinner tonight *sigh*
  11. Ha Ha sounds like a winner. I'll be back in about 15 mins, must do something with my hair, am looking scary!!!!
  12. I've got to admit it's really pretty and can be quite magical - if only it didn't cause so much inconvenience. This is my new laptop desktop pic and the snow is still there. hurry, hurry! lol
  13. No worries Paige, I'm the same, infact I just have to nip and vacuum the hall as the machine's just stood there all day doing nothing No sign of any thaw Wish, but I have my new wellies now http://www.aigleboots.co.uk/acatalog/Aigle_Parcours_Vario_Boot.html they're brilliant, really comfortable due to the last they make them on, and very good under foot, although I reckon the depth of snow kept me stable on my feet anyway Back in a moment.
  14. Hiya Wish, can't believe it's getting dark already!
  15. I tend to do that too Carolyn, I need to go and dry my hair before it dries itself to a frizz, but am enjoying a cuppa and catching up with emails instead. Went to make tea forgetting that I descaled the kettle this morning and hadn't rinsed it out properly since I'm using my tea for one pot and cup that I got off my ED's boyfriend for Christmas, because they know I wont make tea in a mug It's lovely.
  16. Hiya Paige, am sat here looking at the dark skies and the wind blowing, brrr..will be back in two shakes, going to put the kettle on for some tea. How's things with you?
  17. I'm here Carolyn, just composing a long email with links, for a friend who rang me earlier. How are you?
  18. So sorry if I keep going AWOL, my connection has been appalling all day today! Grrr.
  19. Zoonie

    Welcome to C&G

    Thanks Steve :good:
  20. Whizzing through the threads, chatting and gifting - get to it again!
  21. I don't feel back to normal yet after new year, isn't that strange, mind you, I always think January's a funny month. IMOM got to work ok and back again yesterday, very crowded with a half size train, but he is so cold too, there's something wrong with their building and it's like sitting outside. He's going in more and more and more layers each day! Novel technique Frannie, can't see it catching on somehow!!! See you later Dawn, sorry to hear you feel under the weather still. I haven't stopped sneezing since Socks came, itchy and runny nose and sore eyes too...not had any luck with a new home yet though. see??? I did it again! You did! Good Morning Frannie, I must be really tuned in to your arrival as I hadn't seen you there when I posted
  22. I must go and get more coffee, so, so cold here.
  23. Nothing but good I actually was playing Guitar Hero on Nintendo DS and got stuck playing 'Ruby' the entire time. But then I replaced Ruby with Zoonie and it was more fun (Kijo tried to make me sing Joki in stead of Ruby, but that didn't work out at all lol) Perfect! Ruby is Zoonie's special theme tune, naughty Kijo. I'm considering purchasing a giant vat on wheels full of arnica gel and making Kijo sit in it all the time
  24. Hiya Tanya, Hi Bee - good luck tomorrow then I wish! if only it were so simple. I know it sounds like I think it's a complete cure-all, but, from experience of bruising really easily and badly, it's amazing how helpful it is both with the pain of bad bruises and with the healing process. The gel I have that has witch hazel with it too is just amazing and when you have an injury that's hot and swollen, it's so soothing and helps recovery (as I discovered after trapping my hand in a car door once) People in the know take arnica tablets prior to surgery, to help with the later healing.
