Sorry was on the phone. My friend was at a carol service at the Royal Albert Hall and was ringing me for 'support' as she thought it was a bit dire! Boogs, I can't quite believe you registered as Bogie all over again Edit Mr Mayor - do I call you Mr Mayor, MM, or Steve? I want to get it right!¬ I find the dark colours hard too to be honest, but am getting used to it now. And I did notice the brighter buttons phased in today

Well if Mr Mayor doesn't like the idea, no doubt he'll say. Lately we've had lots of donations from just a few members, but the idea really is for small donations from a lot, which I'd like to encourage. For example for a few weeks one of our friends was at hospital daily when her son was seriously, really seriously, ill, so we all rallied and kept her up to date with the TWS and more. She's also a donor to the Registry, so it's all come and go, not just take I think it's nice to be able to do that. There are spare things left over in the Registry as of now, and we either use them for competition prizes, or sell them off at just a small profit to members who might want them, and use the coins to buy the newer items again...but it's all quite flexible.

For anyone who hasn't seen our C&G Gift Registry before, I'll try and simplify how it works. The Gift Registry has been running for some time now, it's supported by regular members, for regular members only, not for people who have joined the group, but don't participate in it! If we know that a regular CeeGeean is off line for holidays/vacations; illness, or computer breakdown (not simply if they don't have time to play) then members who wish to, donate items of TWS, which are collected and then gifted from the Group as a whole, trying to ensure that no one misses the TWS items through no fault of their own. Regular members who have been absent from the game are gifted ONE of each of the TWS that we have, if we have it. As donations are entirely voluntary, sometimes stock is not available. It would be nice if most regular members could spare something, as up to now a few people are donating a lot, and it's expensive for their accounts. Repayment is not necessary, but in the spirit of friendship, a future donation is a kind thing to do.

Back, I was just on the phone. I'm another cooking bore too - love our food here. I guess another way of describing bolognaise is a ragu sauce. We make ours no less than 3 days in advance, and let it all meld together well. C&G does a lot of food chat and recipe swapping (I've made myself hungry now) notes for people who don't know yet in C&G the bar never closes (alcohol-free drinks available for the under age and non-drinkers) C&G has no naughty corner - it's just a squiggley rounded shape C&G has comfort blankies and hot chocolate for all in need

Yaaay Wish, it just didn't seem like you to be down! Hi again Audrey. I don't mind the snow, I'm just a bit nervous driving in it, and it bugs me when it brings everything to a halt. Prefer it to the floods (although we live on the side of a hill, so feel fairly safe from that) We're having lasagne, just need to assemble it. I've realised we're all chat and no gift as yet, but as soon as get my visits done (for a change) hopefully we'll sort that out and also get some competitions going too (we have a nice new sub forum for that)
