No worries Jeanie, once you realise, you deal with it, but if the smilies went where you click, it would be good. Completely understand about people just looking at spoilers and not joining - I was just used to seeing them on the front page, I found them in the Forums now though - not bowled over this week. Depends Wish, what happens over night I guess. OH has a sinking feeling. Our trains have been off all day again and the 'Live Running Information' is still from 12.56 (at 17.51) Marlies, the Eurostar was awful wasn't it? poor people stuck there. Shame your plans went awry but as it turned out, probably for the best.

OK my queries 1. I do a lot of multi quoting, and even on ordinary replies, when you're typing and insert a smilie, it always goes to the end of the post? not sure why 2. If I'm logged in the forums, then click on the forum home page, it looks like I'm logged out? I was thinking that maybe the spoilers have been taken off the front page? I just wonder if I'm doing something wrong there? I'm not doing BACS maths - having too much trouble sorting out my finances at home

Hun, as Wish said, it's so complicated you came straight to the right place! so glad you came :dancing: I just wanted to drop by and say Hi!! I am at work on the dinosaur computer!! it has taken me almost my whole break just to get here.. Oh no! Tanya I only really said Hi and then you were gone Look out for Lea and her family, they set off in our morning! (flying from Manchester) I have 2 questions, will type them separately for you (to isolate them)

Jeanie!!!! How excited are you? I loved your PM! and you can help everyone settle in too. I need to message Pernille for one, and Ayesha and Aresha...I must check who else. Zog knows already and HnyBny (Regina) It's going to take a wee while though. Tan Tan!!! BTW you guys, Smorkle is an old friend of mine from ooooh quite early PIF days is it?

Thank you sweetie but I have already arranged for Gaiamaiden to get my items for me when I am away....thank you so much for thinking of this though xxx I was going to put you and Audrey down on our Gift Registry - and that spreads the load too so more than one person is gifting. Perhaps Gaiamaiden will come and let us know? Have a safe journey, hope you get off ok, and a wonderful holiday - see you when you get back! * by the way, it's really no good saying to C&G no wild parties!!! we do that all the time anyway :tree:

Byeee Frannie, I wish I could do something for you. Bye Dawn, see you soon. I've just had the funniest PM ever, all smilies, zillions of them! I take it my friend Smorkle (OUR friend Smorkle) is pleased we set up here! Marlies is on her way and I've had a note from Elvis who's going to join and come see us when he can

You've made me hungry now too! See Frannie can help you with the siggie, I thought she would. I captured yours from the old site, but when I hosted it, it was too small. I've put instructions up on the first post for multi quoting and also a couple of other things - e.g. you can upload images direct from your PC on the icon above that's just to the left of the image button (with the tree on it). We all need a bit of time to play with things and sort it out. You do have your appointment tomorrow don't you Frannie? LOL - Gimme a break here. I managed to get my avvie working last night and today I managed multi-quote(finally) Siggies and wish list another time :-) You're right

OK I'm going to do a half hour of intensive chores, then come back and open the bar and watch silly Deal of No Deal, if Dawn arrives, point her at her Avatar pic above would you please? and, if she needs help doing it and her siggie, there's a thread out in the main forum on the Help Board See you in a bit.

We'll count you in then! I haven't tried using the old Sig piccie, maybe it's too big for here? I thought it was something I said? or that you'd rushed off to storm that Hotel! BTW Chip, if you don't know what getting a cob on means, it's when you get in a bad mood (or get the hump as we say) Good bargain for the turkey though Lyn! It's sunset here already, the sky's going red!

Everyone here has been so kind and welcoming, and the Admin and Mods really do listen to all suggestions and problems :good: I liked the dark colours for effect, but not for a length visit. Lyn, did you get a turkey? or just a cob on? We've had no more snow yet since Thursday Chip, but it's below freezing and despite some bright sun today, nothing's melted. The trains are off again today, so not sure how OH will get on tomorrow - if he can't get out though, he will just have to work from here again. I wish my house smelt of baking, but I hardly ever bake really - it's going to start smelling of a roast dinner soon, so not so bad.

aaaaw lovely. That's not my cat - we're just fostering him as he's been abandoned, and the local rehoming charity are trying to find him a loving family. We've called him Socks as we don't know his name. We have another old cat, we call him Dennis, who was also abandoned, he's probably 9 or 10 and he's not very happy to have the youngster around. We're coping for now, but it's not for us long term.
