Armell honey, I'm going to move over to the daily chat thread. If you look below the Quick Reply box, see the pink New Topic and the Green Post Reply boxes? to the right of that it says Pet Society Fan Community::PSFC Groups::C&G - click on the C&G and it will show you all the threads in our group - the Gift Registry is back, plus other threads, including one to chat in. There's a separate sub forum too for our competitions and games

I'm c-o-l-d. Mr Zoonie set off for work at 05.45 but there's a broken down train at the station, all dark and deserted - he said it's really spooky. Pitch black here still, and we're watching all the weather chaos on the news...not as bad as you guys get it for sure, but it's still crippled the country. I really hope our oil arrives today, we're so low on supply! How are you? Sweet dreams Jeanie

A quick piece of advice. Sometimes having a phone, instant messenger or email makes you too accessible, and it seems like you have to be in touch with everyone else all the time - if you want to relax, take a long bath, solve puzzles, read or watch a film, turn your phone off, or just don't pick up... anything important will find you, and the rest can wait until you have time to enjoy it - you don't always need to be there if you have something else going on - hope that helps. PS second bit of advice If you don't know something DO just ask, don't be embarrassed, because I think it's more embarrassing not to know and to try and hide that, than it is to just be up-front and say you don't know and need to find out - remember you only need to ask once, but you might need to hide that you don't know, many, many times!

I added to your Rep Yvette for your story and for your advice. I would say, Ena, that you have to want to perform - not everyone really wants it...but if you do, then there are ways to get beyond the fear. First off, understand that you don't have to be the world's best performer anyway - and even if you were, chances are that someone wouldn't like it - that just goes with the territory I'm afraid, and you have to accept that. Nearly all performers have the nerves, and have their own way of coping with them. Perhaps some exercises in controlled breathing might help you a little? I'm sure there's lots of information on that if you do a search of the net - good luck!

I think that's all great advice It's very hard if someone doesn't value themself, and you can't help change things over night I think - you have to keep at it consistently, that's important, and also compliments have to be sincere. I agree it's very important to let someone know how much you notice about them and what they do - commenting on the small things reinforces that they're making an impression, not just the major things like a new hairstyle or the clothes - I think it's nice to make it about them and their attitude or something they've done which is unique to them. We all like to feel appreciated and valued and to feel we did well sometimes

I heard that earlier, personally I'm sticking with Slade (again) and Wizzard (again) Frankie's Power of Love (again) and Chris Rea (any idea what should go in these brackets???) Not to mention Fairytale of New York - I know Christmas is here when my long distance friend rings me (always *ahem 'tipsy' to say the least! and sings down the phone, the whole version, after which I applaud (of course) and we declare Christmas open Where are the new songs? (oh the irony of that question, given the above!)

Night Boo. Yes, Tanya, like a posting contest I guess, but you have to post the numbers in sequence. Did you all see this /the-cafe-f3/your-pet-on-the-psfc-bannerhurry-t6600-30.htm#185980 Fun! Just listening to local news, travel is bad, 3 people have been killed in a car accident on a frozen road, not too far from here

It's easy when you have time to look, isn't it, that's the thing - to explore a bit and see what you can tweak to suit yourself. There are loads of options on here. BG - good luck with the meal, as usual it's me and my OH here, in charge of the kitchen! your parents will be able to relax and be waited on! Has everyone who wants to see spoilers, seen them? Don't go there if you want to be surprised!!! /psfc-news-f7/spoilers-released-another-psfc-exclusive-21st-december-t6644-40.htm See you in a moment PInky.
