We'll all get the hang of it Sara, don't worry. Whose link isn't working? I've been checking, not sure whose is awry? Everyone is bound to venture further afield once they find their feet, as there are so many things on offer here, it'll only take a while. BTW has everyone seen the spoilers? (if you want to) - it's strange now to be able to talk about them openly!

Not napping PInky, just cosying up Cap'n, we are more or less snowed in, no trains, absolutely freezing cold and the snow isn't melting at all - I put pics on my Facebook, it's not so impressive as Toulouse has, or across the ocean, of course! * by the way I have put up a note about looking around the whole forum and also that if you want to turn off the delay to posting - the one which says a new post has been lodged before your reply, you can do that under the Options tab in your Profile section at the top of the page next to Messages then your post will go through immediately.

Not sure, Frannie said something earlier about having to check a box for permission? Let me go and look at mine. JD, I never had a party until I was 21, no Christmas or Birthday celebrations at all - the first party I had was in my own house after I was married You know we love you and have some fun, so don't be worrying - eventually you'll be able to decide and have all the celebrations you want to for you and your future family

Thank goodness! I second exactly what Tanya just said. I was really disappointed and not best pleased with Playfish official attitude, it's as though all of us were lucky to be there, instead of them realising it's people like us who support their business By the way for new C&G friends can I just recommend you read the birthday thread and also check out the Gift Registry thread here too - I'm not fully up to speed yet, but we soon will be. C&G like to celebrate all our friends' birthdays and decorate our first rooms for parties and so on, so we keep track of the dates. There's also a Facebook Group, CeeGeeans & Friends, to keep track of everyone and what they're doing. Please do join if you'd like to.

See you soon Jen. You have to be a member of this group to view it, so hopefully pics are more secure than out on the www at large. I really admire what you're doing with the boys, more power to your elbow, the world needs people like you see you in a bit then Boo, I hate the job of shopping for really difficult customers! HOORAY!!!!! Welcome JD That sounds a rough day, you need to put your feet up and rest a while (and get warmed through!)

see you soon Wish (still cooking here) Cherry is my ED who used to work for Grazia magazine. My YD, Chloé is in a new job too - she's the one who's been worrying us. She now works as a Controls Manager for a Bank - that's just mad! She's only been there since the start of October and has won promotion already - I can't believe it. Hotels can be expensive in London, and food - it all depends when you visit and what you want to do. On the whole, transport is not too pricey. I'm so pleased you made it here Jen, completely understand how pushed you are for time. Happy Birthday to your OH

Our weather report http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1237246/Christmas-getaway-chaos-heavy-snow-closes-roads-forces-airports-cancel-flights.html To be frank, it's nowhere near as bad as many other places, but we just seem to go to pieces here when we have even the slightest deviation from so-so weather

You're my lucky charm for boxes, if you can't do it, no one can That's great! Make sure to check the list of 999s too and stuff removed from boxes - we need to be up to speed and check what they're likely to remove. Personally I didn't like that dodecahedron lantern and used some for payments last week, only to find they're gone now, so might rise in value (or then again, maybe no one likes them anyway )

trust me to be a pain! Thanks, will wait and see if anything can change, if not, it's just the way it is, no big deal. Well, first off, I'm not very keen on Dublin to be honest, although admittedly it's a long time since we were there, so on that count, I'd plump for Marseille - but being with a friend will be good anywhere. As for London - SO expensive! You'd be better coming when the sales are on. Did you hear that Cherry (my ED) is now working for Selfridges (in their Press Office) she's meeting lots of famous people (some good, some not so good!)
