i got my 12 back from her rebuild on thursday evening, took her home to put panels on, took her back out to find the oil pressure light on so i quickly killed the engine to find the oil cooler line had sprayed the oil out my engine all over the road i bodged the pipe up today with some jubilee clips and rubber, put some oil in her and she started fine, ticked over for 20s, toppped up oil a bit more and ran her again for about 30s, revved a little and no horrible knocks or taps ive been lucky

on my bandit 12 the alternator drive gear shattered when i first aquired it, could possible be that if its the oil cooled engine but judging by you saying about the chain its probably a newer engine, i would bet youre not far off the money

hehe i cant stop looking at it be awesome with a 200 rear on it

i love riding in extreme weather once on my 125 a couple years ago there was a flood where 4x4s were turning round flashing me to do the same :P i carried on and went through, got soaked but it was so much fun :P i did it a couple more times for fun lol

well my beloved bandit 6 went through mot again with a few fails and advisories to sort out :P it failed on having a blue sidelight (:P) warped rear disc, front brake lever snapped (too short) and mudguard not bolted on properly :P got it all sorted not bad at 94200 miles :P

nice one mate maybe you can get her on the back of your bike, she'll love the triple vibrations :P

i can do them fairly well but not good enough to sit on the balance point for miles, just 250 yards or so
