i see stoner doing well this year dont really like the guy but boy he can ride a bike.come on cal the only brit got to support him

Totally agree, Cal Crutchlow lives in Ramsey, here on the Isle of Man. He finnished 11th in his debut race although it was even more difficult for him because he'd lost the tip of his left little finger during an accident in the final night of pre-season testing a few days ago.

Crutchlow: I’m pretty happy with that

I was happy to be in the fight for the top ten for as long as I was and the experience gained is invaluable to help me progress in MotoGP. I wanted to finish and get a race under my belt, so it was mission accomplished.

Of course, well done to Casey Stoner. Honda FTW party

    new here

  2. Apparently, as a young boy, many many years ago. In front of all my mother's posh friends during a coffee morning, I announced that I would like to tell them my bestest joke 'eva' Of course these fine ladies thought it was cute that such a young boy was excited to regale them all with his sweet joke.

With huge encouragement from my new female audience, I proceeded to tell them my wonderful joke. It was also a tractor joke and went along these lines:

What's the difference between a tractor and a giraffe?

Cue lots of comments of sweetness and ladies chuckling.

Then I deliver my highly amusing although somewhat misunderstood punchline because I was actually too young to understand.

'Well, a tractors got hydraulics and a giraffes got high bollox!'

You've never seen a room go so silent, you could have heard a pin drop.

Needless to say, I was never allowed to go near the local church coffee mornings or any other event for that matter. Bonus!

My ex-wife used to treat me like a Pagan Saint, she would give me burnt offerings every night!

This sounds like it needs a quick Facebook Group to get the awareness...

  6. Had a good run out today and remembered how quickly you run out of road at 120 - 130 mph (on the unrestricted roads Laughing) It also makes me realise and respect the racers that can achieve and maintain 130 mph average lap speeds around these roads.

I know, I was trying to hold back and even thought of trying to make it sound more glamorous but thought what the heck!

It's gonna be soooo funny when the accountant gets here though... Very Happy

  8. I thought that I'd post this as I've noticed there appear to be lots of questions related and might be something which I can help with.

I'm a qualified Insurance Underwriter and I would be pleased to answer any questions or if I don't know the answer, I'd be pleased to find out or research the details for you.

I'm happy to comment on any general insurance although please note that I'm not qualified to give advice on life insurance or pensions. I would strongly recommended that you discuss those queries with a suitable financial advisor only.

Anything else, I'm here to help.

  9. I bought several pairs from the sport shop. They're just football socks but they keep me warm and people think I'm sporty when they see lots of football socks hanging on the line. (How can someone with so many football socks still be so fat?)
