Interesting this one. I would like to give blood and am very keen that everything that can be used, if anything happens to me, is used. I've made this clear to my partner and family. The NHS for reasons which I and many others consider to be BS. Now I'm not going to explain all the reasons here as they're personal but I'd be interested to hea the opinion of someone who desperately needed my blood or organs.
Makes me both anger and sad that the decision isn't down to the person most likely to benefit. -

"Supposedly having everything" I found out something terribly sad today about this woman and why her life went into such a downward spiral. I am assured by very reliable sources that this information is true. All I can say is something which I can understand but still don't feel able to post up. I know in her position I could never be really happy.
All I can say is 'Be true to yourself'. -
@madsod wrote:well said im on a few forum , and this one is by the far , the most friendly . great bunch , and long may it stay like this , DAVE , DICK AND STU . look after this site very well , ,
It seems to be dependent on the gsoh thing. The banter is rather witty I have to admit that I've been in stitches a few times which is more than I can say for a few other forums It's generally a nice place to be. -

I wasn't here when 'the incident' happened so can only see the aftermath. I wonder if simple common sense isn't the best way to handle these things. It happened=admin reacted by introducing an appropriate rule. In general this does seem to be a nice and good natured forum. There aren't too many complicated rules and as long as folks try to keep to the spirit I think I'm going to enjoy being here.
I say all this as I did leave another forum after I was subjected to an unprovoked, concerted and personal attack. I left, not going to argue about it. If I'm not enjoying it and don't feel welcome I won't stay, simples. -
Not saying a word, I've never fallen off because of the side thand but I did once own a T140E which had a side stand which was longer than the wheelbase of most bikes and no inhibitor switch. Once you've had an 'interesting moment' with one of them you learn a very important lesson

Forgotten what warm is... feels like minus 20. I needed to fix the wiring on our trailer today for a house fixing run to Stoke but have to abort as my fingers were so cold I couldn't feel a thing (and I broke a nail )
Could hardly walk up my mum and dad's drive as it was sheet ice. I want to evolve to hibernate through winter -
In a former life I worked in the music industry, I mean at the top end of the music industry. At that end of things which go on which beggar belief. The thing we have in the real world where your friends look after you and warn you you're about to do something very stupid just doesn't exist. You end up surrounded with who will get you anything even it that thing is no good for you. No one says 'No' any more until you loose a grip on reality. Not a nice world imho.

I'll have to ask Tammy about this but if you're very nice to us we could put up a few of you overnight -
Not really a fan but wondering just how wrong your life must go to start with so much and still end up dying in such an ignominious fashion at 48 ~shakes head~
Not meaning to be disrespectful just confused. -

Good luck to her much more fun riding than pillion I think. We just picked the wrong time of the year to try and do the test and the Mrs's instructor tells her that the test centre only need to see a flake of snow or chance of ice and they cancel the test.
Nice bit of biking road between us here and you in Tamworth runs along the side of the M42
You'll have to call in for a cuppa when your passing
cos we're not leaving the house in this weather -
Just can't imagine anyone not stopping to find out if the lad was ok. If it's true what's this country coming to

Omg this really does put the pressure on to get the FZR sorted out and back on the road. She's up on the bench in the workshop but the gas has run out in the heater
Looks like a fab day out in the pic and we'd love to come.
Can you guarantee the lovely sunshine? -

Laughing our heads off at the Lucky one. Then we realised it's just the sort of stoopid thing Mr Beastly, our boy dog, would do. He's got a thing about poodles and other animals which find him unacceptable. On seeing one on the other side of the canal forgot about the fact that the cut is full of water. In he went, head first. Not a problem unless you're the only dog in the world who can't swim
Laugh, I nearly wet myself Still, I did have to fish the big idiot out by his collar.
Welcome to Tammy and Sophie's menagery for loony animals
I blame the drugs available in the 70's.......
