Wow...thank you everyone. D, I knew that this was a picture of my life now. That's what scared me because I feel like I'm looking for something in my life and can't find it.

Cholette, all I can say is WOW!!! I'm always amazed when God uses people to talk to ME. Everything you said hit home in my heart. Things have been chaotic for me and I KNOW that I need to stand up in the authority God gave me...that's what my pastor was talking about today in church... :eek:

You are right, the elevator didn't crash...but I ran with the illusion that it did, but the reality is, it can't crash because I'm in Christ. Thanks for reminding me of that.

I laid down for a nap today after church and this is the dream I had...please help me!!

I was at this hotel. It seemed like I was with a group of people staying there. I was down in the lobby, looking for the right elevator to get on to take me to my room. I knew there were certain elevators that were for service workers (janitors and maids) so I was trying to avoid those because I knew it wouldn't take me to my floor. I got on this elevator with a guy and a young boy and I pressed #4. The guy started pressing all of the buttons. I got a little frustrated because it would take the elevator a long time to get me where I needed to go. When it came to the fourth floor, the doors opened and it was a mattress store...like a factory or something. I realized I was on the wrong elevator and it turned into a motorized tram. It was taking us away from the hotel and I yelled to the driver to take us back the other way and he did..right back to the front of the hotel.

When I got to the lobby, I found another elevator and I asked this lady, who was sitting in an office, was this the right one an she said no...and pointed to the corner in her office, but there was no elevator. There was this girl (don't know her) with me so we got on another one and a few people got on with us. I noticed somebody pressing #2 and #5 and I pressed #4. The elevator started going up and I realize it skipped floor #2 and #4 and headed for #5 and then the elevator dropped to #4 and then it began falling down. We were getting ready to crash so I started frantically pressing the emergency button repeatedly. Before it crashed, it ended back in the parking lot and it turned into a ride (like in an amusement park). We were going around and around in this elevator car and we could see outside now. I saw a tram headed towards the hotel and I screamed out to the people on the tram to call someone because we crashed. They couldn't understand what I was saying...END OF DREAM.

Help me please!!!!

Blue...that's when the husband comes...when you are complete and comfortable in Christ...not when one is the opposite. I know women who are chomping at the bits to get married...that's all they think and talk about. Little do they know that they are not ready because God says he will not tolerate any other gods before Him. I admire your security in God...I think it's awesome!!!!

You may feel this way now, but the way I see God (if the word is of God), His word will not return to him void. Could it be that he is talking about this situation happening way down the line? You may think he's weird now however when God finishes perfecting those things inside each of you, who's to say that things won't be different?

Just another perspective. I believe in choice as well, but I believe MORE in the will of God.

I was hoping you would change what you wrote previously here because what you said earlier before you deleted it would have NOT made the Administrators happy...you and I both know that.

My advice to you is this...continue to read regardless how you feel. Usually when I feel like I don't want to read, I go to the Psalms and I allow it to saturate my heart. Before I know it, I want to read more.

Like I said in your "need a job" post...you are given sound advice here, but you have a tendency to say "no, that's not it". You are asking us to pray that God will speak,..well he's been speaking all along, but you need a ear to hear so that's why reading the word of God is important.

I think the angle I took when I gave you the scripture is the spiritual root. You aren't thinking correctly and when you don't think right, you don't speak right.

I think Hillobeans is trying to help you from the natural standpoint because you need that as well. I think that there is a scripture somewhere in Corinthians that says that the natural comes first and then that which is spiritual.

You have a much bigger problem change and I think no one here has your answer. You must go to God. It appears that every time someone gives you advice, you start your reply off by saying "no, it's not that" or you think it comes from something else. You have a "God relationship" problem and only you and God can fix that. The people here can only give you advice based on our experiences, but if you don't take it or if it's always something else then you won't be helped.

In my opinion and if it was me, I would not go around them and just pray. I only say this because you have a daughter. If you didn't, I would probably say something a little different. I think you should pray with your daugher and pray for Amy and her parents with her. This way, your daughter will understand that the way they are acting or the thing Amy said is not right.

Just my opinon.

You have to change the way you think about a situation, which will result in the change in the way you speak, which will change your situation. Trust me...I have lived this before and my life changed. I just went backwards and my life changed for the worse. I'm on my way back to changing my thinking AGAIN!!!!

Lord we thank you that you have sent your son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins. In that sacrifice you purchased our health and our security. I thank you for TEC and his/her children. I thank you that because of Jesus, no weapon formed against them can prosper. We thank your for our inheritence in Jesus Christ and we stand in that in Jesus' name...AMEN!

There is NOTHING too hard for God, but YOU have to believe that. He's God and in control over everything and when it's his will then He will stand by it...NO MATTER WHAT.

How did you feel in the dream? It could be symbolic to giving birth to something spiritual as opposed to natural.

Congrats to you. I just had my baby girl three weeks ago so I know enough about muscous plugs...

I would like to also add that naturally a cashier is entrusted to handle money...do you think that you will be put in charge of handling some money for someone...some place?

What do you mean when you say you want to be a "famous" Gospel singer as opposed to a Gospel singer? I'm only asking because my friend in California told me two weeks ago that she wants to be a "famous" dancer and I asked her the same question but she couldn't explain it to me. I thought maybe if I ask you, you can help me understand her zeal to be this famous dancer. Thanks!
