  1. I pray He parts them for you! Amen
  2. Dear Sister - I am praying for you and your Mom's place to sell, too. Don't let the bad economy get you down - that's just the canvass the Lord needs to show you that when He does provide for you, that it is a miracle! In Jesus' name - Amen.
  3. Hi Dreamster - It's Christina -Just wanted to check in with you and see how you are doing? I'm still praying for you - I hope you are doing okay and there is good news on the work front for you. No news on my side of the fence yet. Still trying to keep my trust in the Lord. Stay in touch -
  4. Thank you, Traveller - (What a great name & picture)! I love prayer and friends in Christ. Thank you for caring - I am a complete stranger and one of millions out of work. Your time and prayers are comforting and encouraging! Godspeed -
  5. Hi Dreamster - Thank you for your message - I would like to pray for you! I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace and Provider of Everything that scarybad doesn't happen to my friend, Dreamster. Lord, please provide for your child very soon. Please give Dreamster love and happiness and meet all needs. In your name I pray - Amen God Bless you - I hope this period of time is super short! Let me know when it is over for you.
  6. Hello -Your prayers would be greatly appreciated - I lost my job this week. Typically I'm a pretty hard and dedicated worker, but I've had difficulty in this area in recent years. Certainly, I'm not perfect or without fault, but overall I think I'm a pretty good employee. Please pray for guidance for me - I feel like I am not hearing as directly from the Lord for several years now despite continuous prayers to Him. Please pray for a clear and direct answer about whatever direction he wants me to go in now. Should I start my own business and if so, which of the businesses that I researched, or is it something else? Strange coincidences keep happening which seem to be saying the second half of my life can be a succcessful and exciting time - and just underneath the concern for my livelihood, I have this strange excitement in my heart. I'd love to hear from Him that that IS Him - not just desperate hope. Also - I'm enjoying a really strange peace (90% of the time) - that I have had for several months now - that I know is from the Lord - I am so grateful for that peace! Is that an indicator of something wonderful just around the corner, or am I just having a strange reaction to losing my job and am in delerious denial?? These are the things I pray God will tell me and I thank you for your help and prayers. God Bless -
  7. It is huge & can make you feel insignificant and invisible. Personally, I would sign up for several Life Groups at the same time to find the one(s) that has the most in common with your family. That way you don't make the mistake I did - sign up for one at a time and then feeling guilty for not wanting to attend that one. Plus with summer coming, you have less time to find one you like before they end or dwindle in attendance. I like Life Center and their plants because (the music) and they have bible-study driven Life Groups and activity-based groups - bicycling, sewing, biker chicks for Christ, exercizing, quilting, camping, etc. Or at least they used to - I would google churches in spokane and find a website that looks interesting? I'm with ya, sister. I'm looking for that right place myself. I'll be praying for you - mp me anytime!
  8. Hi Pamela! Have you tried Life Center? Not super close, but very large with many activities to join, which I'm sure you know is the key. There's bound to be an activity and a Life Group for everyone in the family, which is where the real ministry and opportunity to connect is at. I don't know what your home church was like on the left side of the state, but for Spokane they are pretty progressive while staying within the covers of the Word. Being in the Valley, I'm more familiar with churches out here and a few up North, but I will ask around for you and let you know what recommendations I get. Godspeed! Christina
  9. Hi Pam - I haven't visited this site in a long time, but I just saw this post from you from last October. I pray things are going better for you and your family. I, too moved from the Seattle area to Spokane, but almost 15 years ago. Did you find a church and is there anything you need? God Bless - Christin
