You lose the game for having to explain the game!

God damn it. Seems this happens when the server gets overloaded. I checked /sinfo and the RAM usage was way over 2GB. A quick restart solves the problem, but /restart does the same thing as /shutdown. The program never calls itself again, so I have to login and start it up myself.

Okay, I managed to get a backup for every world, but some worlds, actually these in particular SharokCorp MountKevirest Moufworld Warzone Sylvania Expert AdeptI could not find backups for in the backup folder. It just means nobody has been active on these maps since the new VPS went up (one week ago?). Fortunately I have some local backups from April 13, which is sort of old... but not too old. I'm also enabling backups at server startup, and since all worlds are working at the moment, we'll have current backups for situations like this in the future.

Just hide the maps that has been actively worked on in the past. All of the maps with the "old" prefix should be hidden, I don't know who unhid them or why they were showing up in the worlds list to begin with. And if you request a map, USE IT (Heaven, Yggdrasil, Sylvania). EDIT: I went ahead and deleted CRASH and in10minutes (moved the cat.. toast thing to PixelArt). There are 25 available worlds: 3DArt, Adept2, Amphibican (imo, should be hidden for now), Anchorhead (restored, corrupted apparently), City, Flat, GameShow (why is this map even called GameShow?), HellRiver (should be hidden), Hyrule, Island, Mason4, MosEisley, MountKevirest, Nektulos, Novice, Novice2 (let's stick to having only 2 novice maps), PixelArt, Pond, Pupil4, SleepyMountains (should be hidden), Sylvania, THAland (does anybody use this map?), Tristram, Warzone, Yggdrasil (should be hidden).

I have no idea when it'll be up again or why it is even down to begin with. I've tried to email support but have yet to hear anything from them. I'll keep you all informed of course.

I'm using 1.7.4 at the moment and it seems stable so far. The text certainly looks better, in my opinion. Mouse smoothing could be A LOT better as there is a huge delay when looking around. And I haven't crashed... yet. EDIT: forgot that smooth mousing could be awesome for capturing footage, it looks more fluid, but you can't play with it on

You know, now that I think about it, we should just create a board focusing on entertainment (music, movies, games).

Actually I have been to a world with pupils in it, and it tps me to them Correct, /pat works for novices and pupils.

Alternatively, you could go here and skip steps 1 through 6. Great tutorial, I just hate the fact that you have to register on their site to download a free program.
