To be honest with you, I'm not even sure myself as I was slightly inebriated while making the changes. My mistake. I'll add it back later on in the day. -
I don't think we need any more ranks. If somebody "fucks up", well, odds are they're probably going to be demoted. That's that. Mason has copy/paste/cuboid and a draw limit of 50k. That's your second chance. Those kinds of people belong at the mason rank. -

All Minecraft classic servers are currently unable to send heartbeats. Minecraft.net has been majorly broken, and we are waiting for Mojang to get its act together and fix it. As soon as www.minecraft.net gets fixed, fCraft will work normally again. -
Or you can use Defraggler which works better than the built-in defrag tool in my opinion.

Right now we have 7 experts. Finnen doesn't count. I think that's a good number. Think about it, do we even need more? We also have 12 adepts. A good portion of them are just hungry for power and most of them will never be promoted. Don't be afraid to demote them. I don't really care about how many we have. I view them as operators (think IRC channels) because they can freeze, kick, and promote (and also manage zones). And they can read staff chat which I just thought of, thoughts on removing this and making it expert exclusive? -
Nah man, I said what commands would we give the new rank if experts already have access to most of them. There's really no point in adding a rank above expert... I said the same thing when you brought this up about a month ago. I don't get it. How would this rank help? Why do we need this?

It stayed green because it only checks if fCraft is open (which it was). Why don't you add a bookmark in WoM instead of scrolling through the list?

Warning: Heartbeat: The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error. That's what is getting spammed in the server console. There's nothing I can do at the moment. I can't even get WoM to work.

Only novices and pupils get kicked for being AFK.

Pupils are still kicked, but at 30 minutes instead of 15 minutes for novices. I can lower it to 20 minutes instead. I'm not too sure about the grief/auto-clicker detection. Right now it's set to kick on 45 blocks in 6 seconds. Maybe he was lagging or something.

Voted for 20 hours simply because the jump from 8 to 50k (draw limit).

I voted for six hours, but even four hours is acceptable. As long as you see them building or even being active in chat, then promotion to pupil should be simple.

It seems to be up and down sporadically. Keep trying, you might catch it when it's working. Of course, there are other things you can do, such as getting up from the computer.

This stuff rarely happens. Maps will some how get corrupted and reset its dimensions to 64x64x64. It's happened to the novice maps before. Hooray for backups. -
Just for future reference, re-downloading the client does nothing. Minecraft.net was down and everybody had to wait it out.

+1 One of the many regulars on our server. I'm going to go ahead and give him the promotion. I think he deserves it. -
We don't get new players because we have an online message board. Eric already said it. Our community is made up of random players who stumbled upon the server. There's no point in making this commercial. Nope. I don't. You're absolutely right.
