I'll try to stop by tomorrow morning again! Miss you all!!

It does, I stayed in the apartment yesterday afternoon, went for a little walk and was glad to be 'lazy' and relax. I'm feeling much better and well-rested today. and I'm so glad BF understands, I pointed out that it doesn't mean he has to stop when I come to our place, so he has fun too doing much harder slopes

Frannie, so far I've got 100 photos I forgot to bring a card reader or cable to put the pics on my laptop  It's very pretty out here, although today it's a bit cloudy We both are enjoying it, I put the events of the first day behind me, because I was quite down, I felt like a big failure and pathetic they had to come and get me on a red slope, but it really was way too steep and I used too much energy. I really couldn't go any step further and fell down.

Took a 'heavy' painkiller yesterday before heading to bed and it's bearable today, my legs don't feel so tired anymore so I think I'll be able to do a couple of slopes today. Am thinking about doing a blue one to come to the apartment, but dunno if I feel confident enough. After all, the first one we HAVE to do to leave is a red one and I'm able to do that one...

I had time to read back a little: Zoonie, your stories really reflect what happened yesterday Anyways, as I wasn't too keen on going skiing today, I made it this morning. We did the slopes I'm used to, but I felt really tired in my legs. I can ski 'parallel' a bit, but when I get tired, I plough and that makes it more exhausting. Anyway, BF agreed for me coming to the apartment, and he decided to do some blue and red slopes as I went for a walk down the center. Besides, the weather is changing, as it was really pretty this morning, there's no contrast anymore, since the sun 's gone... Am going to take a very very very hot bath lol, and use some more arnica as it's been my savior yesterday! Rofl, maybe I should start a thread (would someone mind? Because that'd make it easier actually) took some nice pics too, but forgot the cable at home  anyways, gotta go now!

Hi guys, I cannot stay long, I think this is my only post for today, as we're about to get ready to go skiing... First of all, don't worry because my status said I need lots of hugs, lol, it's nothing bad or anything, I just had a really bad afternoon yesterday. First half of the day went great, first slope I did was red, but really easy. Afterwards we did the slopes we were used to from last year and all went wel. But then it got downhill though. We did a blue slope and in the end of that slope, I thought I was able to go straight down, but... anyway, I didn't fall, I was able to stop just in time, otherwise I would have hit some barriers. Although, because I was able to stop, I made my way through the barriers. Was quite impressed, I don't know how to say it otherwise, but it did something to me. It took a lot of energy away, but I didn't feel it straight away. So we decided to go up again, to ski down to our hotel, but we had to do a red slope. But because the first one was a red slope and I did good, we thought I was able to ski down... I managed to do 2/3 of the slope, but I fell down out of pure exhaustion, I couldn't go any further, so BF went to the lift guys and asked for help. Which in the end was me in an orange stretcher thing... That's all that happened yesterday, I didn't get injured or anything, but was quite 'impressed' by the events. I'm really scared to go skiing today, but they always told me that when you fall of a horse, you have to get back on it as soon as you can. I'm really exhausted, so I hope everything goes well. >> if Zoonie gets here, please let her know if she doesn't read back. I didn't want to put the entire story to my Facebook, because there's some people who don't need to know everything. So, I have to go now, get ready and take it easy today. Miss you alll! *poof*

Thought it would be fun if I gave more explanation 1. Easy: September 17th 1985 (that makes me, indeed, 24) 2. I'm a student, studying "communication sciences", which is just a prettier word for advertising at university. In my spare time I'm a photographer, on a voluntary basis, which means I don't get paid for the things I do 3. I have 1 sister, Nathalie and one brother, David. Both older then me. 4. Gilmore Girls. I know I have a lot of favorite TV-shows, but this one... I think I saw it for 4 times now. 5. Coldplay. Fallen in love with them a couple of years ago, when I heard 'Trouble'. Adore them since I was able to photograph their concert. One of the best things ever! 6. Piano. It all started with, yes "Trouble" by Coldplay. Favorite pianists: Dustin O Halloran and Ludovico Einaudi. Hope to play the piano someday. I also have a thing for the acoustic guitar, which I try to compensate by playing Guitar Hero 7. Cat. Even though my nickname over here is Bunny Girl, cat's come first! 8. Blue, bright blue especially! 9. I love white wine, white Martini and lime daquiri. I don't drink alcohol much, but I cannot refuse these! 10. Tiger (which is Tijger in Dutch lol, that's the Tiger one), Pitoe (the black/brown one) and Sylvester (that's the one with the black chin) 11. Pineapple. No comment needed :p 12. "Blessed are the hearts that can bend, they shall never be broken.". I love that quote. As Gill/Zoonie said, it's from Albert Camus and it appeared in one episode of One Tree Hill.
