That question about the Crown Jewellers is just too spooky and when people find out the answer, they'll know why LOL I know ....I could NOT believe it Well, Frannie, I wanted to make sure that everyone got a chance to enter and if some people wanted to leave even looking at the questions until Friday .....could be that they would be a bit short of time. Also I won't have a chance to even look at the answer until then so ....why not be gnerous -

Aww, I love cats but not possible to have one with 2 mad dogs When I was a kid, we had 2 strays that lived in our greenhouse - they were feral, but came to the back door to be fed each day. The mother lived for 26 years !!

I guess life without cable in the US sucks. At least we still have some free channels in Uk which are pretty good. We don't watch much TV so we don't pay for satellite or cable but it's real expensive here

Gosh I am starting to hate the BBC coverage....there is so much "filler" in the programming and not enough event coverage -
For me, gold is not a "colour" either ...LOL, cos I had typed almost exactly what you said in your post Gill. It's a moot point. Just because it's not a colour, doesn't mean it's not a "colour"...even in printing

Me too. I have I-Phone and it also hates txt speak and it;s very difficult to use letter and numbers in the same word (Gosh I hate it when you want to use smilies in a multi-quote and it just adds at the bottom of the reply ..starting to get on my nerves a bit ) well it's not a colour.....but you can print in silver for sure

I work in the Printing industry with one of my clients....please do not get me started on what's a colour!!

Thanks Gill You know, when I'm actually speaking I am SUCH a stickler for correct grammar and an "english" geek, but I have spent years communicating with colleagues whose first language is not english (and also lived in US for a while) and I've noticed that I have started to pick up "Angli-can" (using "y'all", "kinda", "dunno") and other types of euro-speaking ..particularly when typing ...I seem to "copy" the grammar that they use (even if it's not right) BG - I am always amazed by the way you type in English though - I think you have a real skill for expression that I could never hope to achieve in another language !
