  6. *Article Taken from HOTWHEELSCOLLECTORS.COM 2010 Hot Wheels Garage Series Includes More Designers! The Next Wave Chosen By Larry, Plus Phil And Wayne by HWC Gary 10-28-09 Last year, we opened up the Larry’s Garage series of Hot Wheels cars based on castings and designs he would choose for his own garage. This year, we’ve asked two more designers to put together their “dream garage!” The Hot Wheels Garage series of cars will continue with Larry’s Garage, plus the addition of lines from Hot Wheels designer Phil Riehlman and Hot Wheels graphic artist Wayne Scott. And, like the Delivery series, the Garage series will debut several new castings, as well as some new Real Riders wheels! A baker’s dozen 13 cars will comprise each of the garages. Among the new castings you’ll find in this series are Larry’s take on the ’51 Le Sabre Concept and Phil’s new Volkswagen T1 Drag Bus! All of the Garage series cars will feature full-metal chassis and Real Riders wheels. As with the Delivery series, you can look for the Real Riders lake disk wheels to show up here in their inaugural year. This series will also launch two other types of Real Riders wheels: both the Real Riders exotic wheels and the Real Riders steelie wheels! And finally, we completely turned three wizards of design (Larry, Phil and Wayne) loose on the deco in this series -- it’s gonna be hot in this garage! Here are the castings you’ll find in each of the Hot Wheels Garage segments: LARRY’S GARAGENo.Purple Passion Woodie (Larry says: “Deco was funny… flames with wood.”)3/39Custom Volkswagen Beetle (Larry says: “I liked the hot rod look on the fenderless VWs.”)5/39School Busted (Larry says: “Hot rod buses always look pretty cool.”)10/39Bone Shaker (Larry says: “One of my favorite castings.”)11/39Custom ’66 GTO Wagon (Larry says: “In-your-face colors!”)15/39Pass’n Gasser (Larry says: “Didn’t think the name would pass…”)16/39’51 Le Sabre Concept (NEW!) 7. One of my acquisitions. Thought you'd like it. It's from the 2007 Japan Custom Car Convention. Designed by an artist called Voltaire. This was limited to 1,500 units. It looks absolutely divine and the artwork has to be seen to be believed. More pix on MY Blog : DIECASTPATROL Thanks for looking.
  8. The Vdub definitely looks better than the last casting or the Baja..

  13. Things have improved recently.. A lot of the retailers I think are not bringing in too many cases at one time. That would probably help.
  14. Well Sinclair... If we had a million bucks I don't think we'd have it shipped. We'd pick it up..
