For beginner, advice to use masking tape.
Do you using normal marker ?

i use normal permanent marker pens only...no paint...n also pvc black tape..

bro black pvc tape will make it sticky and the colour might run.. nice job though! still needs practice and proper tools.. market pens with fat tips dont suit the job.. try getting those super fine tips.. fine as in 0.5 mm.. it really does a good job.. those pen are almost the same price as the fat markers.. Smile just a piece of advise i learned.. takecare bro! hope to see more customs!

Guys...always look around the household, recycle whatever you can find. I myself have picked up rubbish thrown away by others, I don't care! I PICKED IT UP PUT ON MY CUSTOM - OH MY GOD!!! hehehhe....so who knows right not Wink...

...and don't let anyone else tell you - if you have no art/design background you can't custom!!! B U L L S H I T ! ALL YOU NEED is to LOVE CARs Very Happy...hehehe flip thru the mags or watch some old re-runs of car movies and such. Get some inspiration. I'm currently trying to multi-task doing custom cars and dioramas...oh my..what fun Wink...
