Raymond 0 Posted July 15, 2009 Anyone here owns these J.C Penny Treasure Hunts set for those do not know bout thishere's the pictureWikipedia Spoiler: Treasure Hunts are not only released as individual cars, but also in complete boxed sets through Mattel's Redline Club or through JC Penney. These sets are more rare than the Treasure Hunt cars themselves with known production numbers ranging from as low as 2,000 to 6,000 sets. The set is generally worth the combined value of each car plus the packaging it comes in that makes it a unique set and is considered to be worth even more than a loose set of the individual cars. netmatrix 0 Posted August 4, 2009 The set has 168 cars. If USD 2800 divide with the cars, each would cost UDS 16.70. Convert to Malaysian Ringgit, each car is RM58. Is that expensive? How much u guys "paid" for a wanted or rare TH all the time? I have though that if we share all our resources on this sets then spread it out among ourselves through balloting for the "wanted" cars. guyy 0 Posted August 5, 2009 those are rare items now, and bout the recent 2007 or 2008 TH factory set, should know the price mostly increase not decrease and a few years from now everyone will have the same reaction hehe. so whoever can afford grab it while u can but for me i think i'll just start saving for the 2009 Factory Set (the whole 300+ car set... hopefully ) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
