'68 Olds 442.... in pink

Recommended Posts

After exchanging PMs with a fellow member of the HWC message Board, they expressed interest in a pink 442, and since I had a couple of the 1968 442s
(I have a soft spot for the OldsmoBuick muscle cars), I said that I would do one....
FastForward several months and here she is, my version of a pink 442.
I have to admit that I just love how this one turned out.... very happy with it.

Mild build, just paint and wheels
Casting - HotWheels 1968 Oldsmobile 442
Wheels - Maisto

Thanks for looking.

I have to agree with you.
There's just something about Olds muscle cars. I love you

Neither colour ... it's actually a "warm" silver, I think the light from my lamp made it look a bit more yellow that it actually is.

I wished the pink was in a much more darker shade. This looks like pale pink. Was the pint off the shelf stuff or you mix it yourself?

It is actually not paint at all..... it's nail polish, whenever I see a big bucket of nail polish on special, I have a look, lots of funky colours/pearls/metal flake finished available.
