measured last night and there was 7-8inches of snow. will have to grab a pic in a mo. Can't get to work, place is closed and i'm having to do some bits at home! Mind you, atleast i can play some music and go at my own pace

Just went up Mt Gravatt lookout for a cold drink,
its cooled down a little but still no snow.

Had full-on torrential rain for two days!

No lights working in the house,,
half gardens under water,
one leak in the ceiling,
tree's down across the roads.

Worse further North,
Roof's off house's, at least one dead..

3 dead, including a lad washed off his motorbike,
several more missing.
Some houses distroyed, many without power.

Rain's stopped but water levels are still climbing.

one thing with Australia... They ever have lovely weather or extremely bad!! If its not the torrential rain, its hail stones the size of tennis balls! Hope everyone is OK down under. Any serious water damage to your place Tony?

Water in the roof.
Not lights in house.
Not a drama, will give it chance to dry out and
check everything. Rain was being driven up under the tiles.

Rain stopped, suns out. Beautiful day.
Where I took the pics of Kedron Brook near my home
a woman took her 3 year old son down to see the flooded
brook. Tree collapsed on them, killed the little boy.

Water still rising so some floods getting worse but its
not flash floods so folk have plenty of time to act.

Found the BBQ cover.
Fetched the dogs bowl back from next doors yard.
Picked up the palms / branches.

Just been on the roof and fixed a few tiles.
two story house with a steep roof,
not sure if the sweat was the heat or fear!

Just got the power back on.
Mrs drives me mad at night with no air-con or ceiling fan.

All good here,
news shows Bunderberg and a few other towns
with rivers and creeks still rising though.

Its about 31-degree's C here, but humid as hell !
Trying to build a pen so my Mrs can have some chickens !

yeah im still here but had a lot of bad things happening at the moment,i may as well let folk know my mams terminally ill shes got motor neurone disease,and weve just been caring for her what she's going through words can't explain and it's just heart breaking, we've all been mentally and emotionally drained with it all but im still here.

Been really high up north above the artic cirkle and visit the icehotel in Jukkasjärvi .

Now back in south Sweden and done a really great bimble today ,
cold but no snow at the roads here so it starts to be time to ride more often again .

Yes fr499y it's the Icehotel up north Sweden .
Was there this weekend for a wisit not checking in (to cold for me to sleep there ).
Was there saturday and on monday i did my first bimble this year at home ofqouse .
Talk about a big diference in the same country .
