if its a nice scotch I'm partial to a bit of Bowmore,Expensive but nice and don't kill it by putting water in it ,it has to be neat .

I always thought that jez about water, but i was told water releases the flavour, and must admit i think it does too thumbs

if you add water it should only be drops to mellow the flavour don't get drowning it and don't get putting lemonade or coke with it.
I prefer single malts neat , mind you i prefer most alchohol neat.

Whisky and ginger is good also with ice but only with cheep nasty stuff, I like single malt on its own but there are loads out there these days.
Rum is good with coke and Gin is good for degreasing

Good site that and one for my list to check out cheers.

Bunnahabain or Laphroaig
and the only thing you should put in a malt is another one!!

They add enough water at the distillery, its the source of that water that gives
the malt its flavour not the sherry or bourbon barrels it spends the next 8 or 12 years in

Try 'The Macallan', very, very smooth.
Glen Ord is quite good also....'I shine, not burn'.

Another one that springs to mind is Gordon Graham's 'Black Bottle', very smooth for a blended whisky and only about £14 a bottle thumbs

I'm not allowed Whisky anymore, it turns me into a violent drunk instead of a sleepy/slurring one, but Dalwhinnie used to be my favourite.

I used to have a reliable source of illicit Poteen which I'm told was second to none in quality. Unique in the way you can still get drunk by drinking water the morning after.
