Won't be able to make that one lads Would have been nice to catch up with a few of you so soon after the ride in July .

Was wondering if people fancied meeting up around October/ November time for a beer? Obviously it's getting to winter so bikes will be off the road (or at least mine will be). It would be more of a "pre-christmas" party almost, chance for people to bring wives/girlfriends (obviously not both ) I was going to suggest a meal or such, but I think you lose the chance to talk to a lot of people with being sat at a table etc. Given most of the forum are our southern bretheren I don't mind travelling down to you, and I know the good lady wouldn't mind a run out to meet everyone.

Any thoughts?

See what the response is. There are enough Travelodges down there for me and the good lady to stay in so not a problem for me. See if there's enough interest and if we can sort anything.

Very generous Dave . Probably come down one day and get away the following day. Can't stay too long as need to get back for the little one. I'll have to rely on your or Stue11s expertise as to the best place to go.

Do people have any preferred dates? I don't mind when, nothing specific coming up in the next few months. Saturday would seem to be the best day, or would people prefer a Friday? I'm thinking of avoiding the mid-week as people have work etc.

Strattford is good with me, The one Robbie is on a bout is in Coventry, I stopped there last year when it was Robbie's birthday , it was OK clean and a pub/restaurant next door, Our room was at the top of the stairs and my wife said she could hear the fire door all night as people was coming and going, next morning when we went to pay there was a sign saying " we guarantee a good nights sleep" my wife mentioned the door and the gave us the room for FREE didnt charge us a penny
