Castrol Chain Wax

Recommended Posts

I've got some Castrol chain wax in the garage that I've had for years. There is a date on the bottom of the can 30/09/05! Does this stuff have a shelf life, or do you reckon it would be ok to use? Any views on this lube, good stuff or should I bin it?

Castrol Chain Lube is crap. Makes a mess of your bike, flings off etc. There are several blogs on the web saying how useless it is.

I am fed up with telling you all , todays chains are sealed with lubrication between the rings , be it o x what ever all you need to do is stop the friction between the rollers and the sprockets thumbs
