jezza 0 Posted January 9, 2013 Took the bike to sunny brizzle for Tim blakemore to pop on his dyno and have a play and see what could be done.First run shows from what I can make out is that the bike initially runs rich until roughly 2800 rpm then runs lean until 3800rpm (the bike did tend to hesitate around here) then the bike runs rich.Max power 159.97Max torque 97.01 (shown on graph below).Next Tim bolts on a box of tricks and after 1 -1 half hour he does a final run.Max power 168.46Max torque 103.46So a good increase, the ride home was a lot smoother and I,m very happy with the results.Air fuel run plus bhp(1st run)Final runBhp plus torque corrected (red)Bhp plus torque 1st Run. fr499y 0 Posted January 9, 2013 nice increase. Can't beat a smoother bike after a bit of fiddling on a dyno. Funny though, its not 200bhp after all
jezza 0 Posted January 9, 2013 Did they produce a 200bhp busa
fr499y 0 Posted January 9, 2013 no, my uncle recons his is.. which is why i said funny its not 200bhp after all nice to see a print out of one with smooth power
jezza 0 Posted January 9, 2013 this is with the blueflames,k&n and tre fitted....Tim said he could of got a few more ponies if the baffles were removed (only a few, not enough to get it up to 200bhp though lol ) however after the bandits noise of baffless twins used to leave me with a headache after 70 miles or I preferred him to set it with baffles in. ptolemyx 0 Posted January 14, 2013 Was the " little box of tricks" a Healtech FI TunerPro by any chance? I can heartilly recommend Tim Blakemore. I've always used him and will continue to do so. He really knows his stuff, especially big Suzuki and Kawasaki motors. Also, Tim doesn't inflate the numbers, but dials in the right correction factors for air temp' humidity etc. For the full treatment he'll get your fuelling as near as perfect right across the full rev and throttle opening ranges. Old and Disgraceful When in doubt, go flat out!
jezza 0 Posted January 14, 2013 Yes it was the heal tech, I will probably in time pop over again and get another custom map for when the baffles are out , no hurry at the moment as I,m more than happy with it and the baffles in.
