tyres for thundercat ..

been looking at michelin road 2's £198 a set and bridgestone 023's also £198 a set but unsure what to go for .. both are sport touring but unsure which are the better value for money and longevity..so anyone any ideas scratch

i had a set on my old bandit6 Dave and was really impressed with them,just wondering how the bridgestones stack up against them as there a newer tyre,im running battleaxe 020's at the mo and lets just say ive had some interesting slides on them Shocked i just dont like them at all.

Got Michelins on mine but not ridden it yet!?!!! So don't know what they're like ShockedShocked

thanks for the replies folks,gaz you always throw a spanner in the works LaughingLaughing i got the conti motions on your heads up and think there great,ive now been looking at dunlop qualifiers i can get a set for £159 inc p&p they sound good too thumbs

I had bt023 gt version on my old bandit 12 thought they were great

Newly fitted went to France 1500 miles and no sign of wear or squaring off.
I have no experience with Michelins.

My old thunderace ran on Avon Azaros which suited the bike very well

i now run on mitchelin pilot road 2s great tyres,also used dunlop qualifier 2s also good but i think they wear a bit quicker but good grip when warmed up.sorry dick i have no recent experiance of bridgstones.

Got Pilot Road 2's on the Bandit Dick and am really pleased with them, think you made a good choice mate! thumbsthumbs

Just put a new BT023 on the front. Previous tyre fitted at 16373 mls replaced today at 25438 mls. Can't complain at that thumbs

got the tyres fitted this morning only to be told a rear wheel bearing was knacked so had to take it really steady going home,anyway ordered a full rear bearing set and dust seals which i'll fit next week so alls good thumbs

you should take it back to where you bought it mate they should fit the bearing for free thumbs
