RF900 vs Thunderace Practical Sportsbikes

This month's has the RF 900 vs the Thunderace both great bikes . I get mine each month del at work . i have been told that the Rf won . as it was a members bike from the RFOC , Can wait to have a good read on Monday thumbsthumbsthumbsthumbs

a good write but unless youve lived with a bike a good couple years its hard to make a proper assesment im only talking about the Ace here mind,both testers were a bit overwhelmed by its sheer size and found it hard to corner something i have no problem with i find it really nimble and pin sharp also easy to steer ,i wont say owt else as you havent read it yet but yeah its good thumbsthumbs

i know what your sayinf dick its took me a couple of months to get the zx9r to handle how i want it felt heavy and a slug in corners and i wasnt happy. i stopped riding like i did on my sv and im not chucking it about, knee downs the lot! sometimes you have to grow to change for the bike imo Smilethumbs

Yamaha Thunderace one of the most underrated Super bikes of all time.

Mostly by people who've never owned and lived with one thumbs

Funny, i never found it a issue with cornering, it did have super sticky tyres that you could easily get on the edge. Handled like it was on rails!

The only real way to test handling is to have them setup the same, which i doubt they would do for a review!

As i said in my post both great bike's and after a very nice read i still think the Yamaha Thunderace is a good bike if one came at the right price i would have one , never gone much on write up as you make a bike your's and learn to get the best out of it , we are bike rider's not a test pilot . thumbsthumbsthumbs

had a thunderace, when they first came out,in the nineties, and it was a stonking bike, took it to my mates bike shop in sheffield and he was well impressed, it was at that time the fastest bike i had been on and i had been on many.


underated bike and im still looking for a good one to come up

your right there gaz thumbs i could only comment for the Ace as ive never had an RF but i think there also an underated bike as well,but nice to see both bikes in print for a change thumbs
