I was getting a new bike ( used purchase really) and my insurance on the old was running out at 10:30 am. Its also my partner's birthday so I had to get back get her a meal and drink then dump her at her sisters as I am out with a buddy on a yearly 30 mile hike tomorrow (just over scottish border). Am keeping a close eye on the weather forecast to see if it is worth going.

Daring not to touch the brakes, I just powered down for most of the journey.

No sure about furthest points, Shortest route between me (Brisbane) and Perth on the West costis about 4350k's, about 2700 miles, but you REALLY wouldn't want to go the shortest route.I've seen it done in 3 days but I'm not game to try.
