Did you have to go ? Or was it just for the ride ?

I was getting a new bike ( used purchase really) and my insurance on the old was running out at 10:30 am. Its also my partner's birthday so I had to get back get her a meal and drink then dump her at her sisters as I am out with a buddy on a yearly 30 mile hike tomorrow (just over scottish border). Am keeping a close eye on the weather forecast to see if it is worth going.

at one point I had a really bad cross wind and the bike must have been leaning over quite a bit as on coming traffic was making room anticipating the worst. Daring not to touch the brakes, I just powered down for most of the journey.

I love an optimist Garry, the sun seems a long distant memory BUT the 21st has gone (that passed by quick!) so the nights will slowly be getting lighter from now on.  thumbs

Bit warm.

Had breakfast out on the deck.

Back in the aircon now,
Ceiling fans on too.

Might get the bike out tomorrow, maybe. X

Was 32 degrees C (about 90f) when I took the dog for a run.
The heats not bad but it's quite humid at the moment.

UK in 3 weeks is going to be "interesting" !!

No sure about furthest points,
Shortest route between me (Brisbane) and Perth on the West cost
is about 4350k's, about 2700 miles,
but you REALLY wouldn't want to go the shortest route.

I've seen it done in 3 days but I'm not game to try.
