How to add your facebook link

Your Facebook link is essential to trading at PSFC, without it you cannot trade with other members of the forum or beable to get gifts from members or claim prizes if you win one of our fantastic competitions at PSFC. It's simple to add your Facebook link or update it in your Profile:

1.Go to your facebook profile page and copy the link in the address bar.


2. Come back into PSFC and click on the "Your Profile" tab at the top of the page.


3. Scroll down until you come to contact info, and then paste your link into the Facebook slot.


Don't forget to click save.

You also need to go into your privacy settings in Facebook, contact information and make sure you have add as friend set as everyone.

I have the same problem, it won't save what I change on the profila pag.

A couple of people have mentioned to me that they're concerned about the Privacy issue, in that they don't want everyone (including people they add to gift in PS but don't really know as such) to have access to their Facebook info and pictures etc.

There's a way of making a list, which you can add new friends to, and yet which restricts their access to your pages - I must look and see if the instructions are on here already.

there is a listing in facebook that you can set just for PS friends ...and they are restricted to whatever you decide they can see or not. I have all my PS friends under one group

Me too Audrey, unless I get to know them so well they're like RL friends.

I've tried everything that you've suggested in order to make my fb link work. I'm out of ideas, I have had a pm from a moderator but cannot pm back yet becasue I don't have enough posts.

OK I think I found the missing link

I had the search part restricted to friends only...all should be ok now, I opened it up to everyone but if someone could just try it and let me know and I'll re think

Hi. When some people in this forum clicked on my facebook link,they said it not active link.But I just checked it and it is working for me.I don't know what wrong with it

Sweetie, it actually takes me to my profile, which usually means you haven't copied the right link.... Try instead of coping the address from the view my profile page, search your name and then copy the address from that page.. It's complicated but I hope that makes sense!

This normally means that you have copied the link from your facebook home page...what you need to do is click on the profile tab and copy this link as it is the profile link you need to add

When we click on an invalid facebook link it takes us to our home page, instead of the profile of the person we want it to...so this is why its going to your home page
