mjtorrence 0 Posted May 4, 2011 Hello everyone been awhile since I have been here, I am, asking for prayer, I remember reading a post that Mia had stated a verse from the bible well yesterday that verse came to me, I currently live in low income housing for 11 yrs and we are waiting to buy our first home, today I get a call from low income housing that they are going to move us from this unit to another one in three weeks, I don't want to move out of low income housing only to move back in low income housing, I want to move into our own home that we own, my husband has everything paid off for his credit and today we talked with the guy from the real estate and he said he will rerun the credit on June 1. Please stand in agreement with me that they will not move us from this house until we find our own home, I am standing in faith that the Lord says "You have not because you ask not so that your joy may be full" well my joy is not full I am so on the verge of crying but I know that will not make it better Please pray with me thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Cholette 0 Posted May 4, 2011 It's good seeing you MJ!!! I know how you feel, but can I say this to you? Release it to the Lord! Let Him take you where YOU need to be. I'm not saying that God can't move in this situation and keep you there, because He can...what I'm saying is sometimes we put so much of OUR expectations into what WE want and not allowing the will of God to take us where HE wants. What if the next house you move to, you meet the right person that will get you the home you really desire to be? Like my pastor says..."you are one relationship away from the next level in your life". I'm reminded of Joseph...his situation looked DIM!!!! But it was what he needed in order to meet the baker and the butler so he can get to the palace. I KNOW you are tired of low income housing and God has better or you and your husband...just release your expectations to the Lord and let him turn EVERYTHING for your good. The Bible says that NO GOOD THING will he withhold from you...and he won't. I will be praying for you...believe that...I just wanted to share that with you because it has helped me and released me from lots of frustration in my life. Fear not for nothing is to big and nothing is to small for him! Leave it at the feet of Jesus. He cares about every concern you have and he will intervene in our behalf. You are right though, we have not for we ask not. Ask, then stand in faith knowing that you have received it and leave it to the Father. mjtorrence 0 Posted June 19, 2011 Hi Ladies well I have a praise report well we moved to the other house on two fridays ago I didnt want to go but it was God's will not mine so we decided to go into the new house light and easy so we put a lot of things in storage while we wait, we got a text message from the real estate agent that our loan was approved and we can start looking for our own home to buy I thank each one of you for praying for me I so thank God for making the crooked paths straight and we also are in a good church thank you Lord for you provide and make a way out of no way for your children Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Deborah 0 Posted June 19, 2011 I lived in a tiny townhouse for 12 years with my family and saw house after house we were interested in sell to someone else. When the right house finally came along, God made everything go smoothly. Now when I look at the other houses, I realize God shut the doors to them because they weren't as nice as what He had picked out for us and I'm so glad I didn't settle.I am also very happy for you for finding a good church. mjtorrence 0 Posted September 9, 2011 Hi All I know I am not around the site much been busy since school started back for the girls now I am homeschooling one teen and I never thought it would be so much whew but with the Lord's help I am working thru it, so far we are still waiting for the bank to approve the short sale on the house the appraisal got done so we are just waiting I and my husband are anxious to move in. The other night at bible study the Pastor taught on waiting on God I thought how ironic that would be the topic cause the Lord sure knows that we are getting ants in our pants about wanting to move into this house, but it was a right on time word for us that we have to wait on the Lord and when he says move we will until then we will just sit patiently and wait Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
mjtorrence 0 Posted November 12, 2011 HELLO all I am back with great news We got approved for our loan on the house and we close on Dec 22 I am so happy and thanking the Lord. The first house that I wanted so much didnt get approved because it had two loans on it so although I had been praying for that house to be ours but God said no, and guess what we found another house the next day and we didnt have to wait three months as before we waited 30 days God is sooooo good Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
