  1. I was late sending, and I did you a birthday room, not sure if you saw it though? Never mind, I know you'd have sent a note if you'd been on PS. Marie (Cogsy) sends her love to all btw - she has no time to chat at all, but still donates to the G/R
  2. Edith's mother. She lives in the attic of the café, which is also the place where the British airmen and the Resistance's radio (complete with "Ze flashing knobs") are hidden. When she wants attention, she bangs her walking stick on the floor and cries out "Will nobody 'ear the cries of a poor old woman?" She is partial to a glass of gin, and occasionally fills in for her daughter as part of the café cabaret; though her singing is just as bad (if not worse). She also hates the Gestapo, as evidenced by saying "The Gestapo, I spit on zem" which is followed by three spits. Frannie la Fran I'm assuming it's ok to post pics from the web, as the tool bar has the means to do just that?
  3. I love it too, get a bonnet on to Misha, Tanya's taking orders right now. I'll look for some catch phrases... of course, you do realise that when we chat, this is now the image I have in my mind?
  4. I can't believe how many food items out there 'taste like chicken' - so I just stick with the chicken OH eats more or less anything though, he can do it for both of us! Frannie, no worries about typos, we read what you mean, not what your fingers do off piste! Besides, there's your enormous age, your failing eyesight and the fact that we KNOW you're typing from your bed, as per your avvie
  5. Nice one Bee! ED has also met Gordon, at work - she said he was absolutely lovely (but the team who were with him, no so) She told him that her Dad's a really good cook, and he signed a book for him, which she gave him for his birthday last year. He said they should have a cook off
  6. • Do not post links from other web sites unless the link has been approved by Site Administrator. This includes links in pictures and graphics I think I will have to write and ask Lea for some clarification?
  7. I'm fine thanks, it's strange how those really late nights catch up with you - but worth it. What kind of things did you have? Was it Royal Hospital Road? I think he's had fillers in now, because of his TV work in America lol. I'm not too sure about the new rules - guess it might either be something to do with copyright reasons, or, that the owners of a website are deemed to be responsible for everything that appears on it? Let me read what Lea said again.
  8. It's ok now, you're pretty experienced and we're learning
  9. aaah I thought it was a reference to something I didn't know about on TV or something (over-thinking again) Bye now, get some rest. ((Bee)) now, apart from work being mad crazy, how is all the important stuff?
  10. @Kijo - I don't understand your status?
  11. Texted Bee, she's trying to get on here now
  12. ^ I don't recommend you try that Kijo, don't listen I need to send a note through to Bee, or text her, I can text her. The woman was wrong, but listening to the full story, her Visa had run out and the authorities wouldn't renew it. The child was the product of a failed relationship and unwanted by the father who rarely saw her and never paid anything in child support - I think she was broke, desperate and desperate. She's also served 4½months in prison here and been on bail ever since (which is years and years) - that's the equivalent to a one year prison term with early release for good behaviour apparently - plus, she lost her child for all that time, as she was returned to the father (not read anything about how he took to the responsibility, but she said they all get along ok these days) Just filling in what I heard.
  13. Chatting and Gifting, it's what we're here for
  14. Very sad case - just been on the radio, the woman sounds on her last legs, awful. Am going to try and get around the ban on posting links - copy and paste guardian.co.uk/world/2010/apr/21/court-extradition-mother-us-abduction *new thread open now
